4. Analyze District and School Characteristics
The dashboards provide
educators with relevant,
timely information
including District
Information:
• Student Demographic
• Program Populations
• District Characteristics
5. Create Filtered Watch Lists
Administrators can create a
Filtered List that
automatically populates
based upon the selected
filters. These lists will
automatically update when
new students meet the
criteria or move into the
selected student population.
When a list changes, the user
will receive an email
notification.
6. Find Students, Teachers, & Schools Using Search Bar
Search capabilities vary by role and may include campuses, students,
and teachers. StudentGPS is FERPA compliant.
7. District Goal Planning
‹#›
District and School Goal Planning
The goals for the percentage of students achieving
a defined threshold for each dashboard metric (e.g.
zero discipline incidents) can be customized at the
District Level for each school and for the whole
district.
8. Grade Level Comparison Charts
‹#›
School Data: Grade Level Chart
The More button provides detail on how
students are performing on the assessments
at each grade level
9. Access Teacher Metrics
The “More” button allows administrators to create
a list of the Teachers who comprise that Metric.
From this list, administrators can navigate to a
specific Teacher’s dashboard and class list.
10. Classroom/Teacher Dashboard
The dashboards provide
educators with relevant,
timely information to help
guide instruction at all
levels of the education
system

14. ASIS District Level View
Administrators have access to all the teachers and students that are enrolled or
teach at their designated building. District level administrators have access to all the
teachers and students within that district. ASIS provides the ability to create, view,
and edit Academic Improvement Plans (AIPs) and Intensive Reading Interventions
(IRIs). Educators also have the ability to generate a Student Academic Report (SAR)
or progress report on-demand.

18. Triand: Official Electronic Transcript System
Public schools in Arkansas are to use the electronic transcript system
pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. § 6-80-107 to transfer transcripts.
19. Smart Core Report (Student/Parent view)
Students or Parents
will visit
my.triand.com/smart
core and enter the
unique Authorization
Code. A Smart Core
Report will
immediately display:
• Basic Student
Information
• Smart Core Status
• Course history
• Current schedule
• State Assessment data
• Transcript requests
21. Accessing Reports
Publicly accessible
reports are
available to see
how well Arkansas
high schools are
preparing for
success in Arkansas
postsecondary
institutions.
Reports are
available at the
State, District,
College, and High
School Level.

22. Analyzing ACT Data
The ACT Report creates charts that analyze:
How did fall college grade average for our students compare to those statewide
and of other subset populations?
Did students who achieve ACT College Readiness Benchmark Scores earn higher
freshmen grades?
How important was rigorous preparation in high school math/science for success
during the first year of college?
How did the ACT Composite scores of our students compare to those statewide
and of other subset populations?
Were graduates who received academic challenge scholarships more successful?
24. Standards Annual Accreditation System (SAAS)
Archived, approved
reports are
accessible by the
public. Preliminary
Reports are
viewable by LEA
administrators only.https://adedata.arkansas.gov/saas/
25. School and District SAAS Reports
Archived reports will
detail school and district
accreditation status for
the selected year.
The preliminary reports
functionality allows
district to all the
exceptions and October 1
status on each
accreditation area. This
allows administrators to
be proactive in resolving
these issues.

27. Arkansas School Report Cards
The Arkansas School
Performance Report Card
System allows School and
District Administrators to
Customize their report
card, appeal data, import
evidence for appeals, and
view reports.
https://adesrc.arkansas.gov/
28. Customizable by District
The Arkansas School
Performance Report Card
System enables
Administrators to
customize the Report Card.
Sections and Items can be
created at the District or
School’s Discretion.

32. Arkansas Assessment Analytics
The Arkansas Assessment
Analytics Center provides 3
years of performance data on
state assessments at the district
and school levels across
Arkansas. The reports contain
aggregate level of historical data
for the Benchmark, ITBS,
Algebra I, Geometry, and
Biology EOCs, and Grade 11
Literacy.
33. Arkansas Assessment Analytics
Every student attending an Arkansas public school shall participate in the statewide
program of educational assessments required in Ark. Code Ann. §§ 6-15-419, 6-15-433, 6-
15-2009 and established by the State Board.
The laws and regulations require the administration of criterion-referenced tests (CRTs)
and norm-referenced test (NRT).

Editor's Notes
There is no cost nor will there ever be a cost for the districts. We have been lucky enough to secure a significant amount of grant funding for the first two phases of development

In the 2014-2015 school year, all districts will have access to StudentGPS. The dashboards provide educators with a quick, user-friendly interface find information they need to guide classroom instruction. Information contained within the dashboards includes: student demographic information, grades & credits, attendance, state and local assessments (TLI, PCG, NWEA) The system is also customizable so they teacher can create Dynamic Lists and show information that’s important to them. The goal of this system is to provide a FERPA compliant resource for educators to not only obtain the information they need to guide instruction, but to also provide it in a way where the “data makes sense”.
Triand is the electronic transcript system for the state. Public schools in Arkansas are to use the electronic transcript system pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. § 6-80-107 to transfer transcripts. When a student transfers from a public school in Arkansas and enrolls in a new school, the school where the student was previously enrolled will be sent an email notifying that school that the student has been transferred.
Triand allows Teachers to print Smart Core letters for their students in order for students and/or parents to view their individual Smart Core Report.
Triand Users
When you log in to My Triand, click on "students" tab.
Choose the filter that meets your role - teacher, school-level, or district-level - to view a list of your students. Leave the search records box blank if you wish to print a Smart Core letter for each student; search for a specific student by name if you wish to print a letter for an individual student; or key "enrolled:true" in the search box to produce a list of only actively enrolled students. Click the "Smart Core Letters" button to generate an Adobe PDF file.
Note: Each letter will be customized with a student’s name and personal authorization code to be used.
Print the PDF file and hand the appropriate letter to your students. The sample letter below is an example student who attends school at the "Arkansas Dept of Education" district.
