Tom and his friends go on adventures in cyberspace over 6 chapters. In Chapter 1, they go on a treasure hunt on the internet using clues to find tickets for a virtual trip. They meet an important person from the past. In Chapter 2, they join an online pen pal club and are matched with students from different countries around the world. They exchange information about their lives and cultures. In Chapter 6, the friends complete brainteasers and puzzles throughout their adventures online. One of their pen pals, Alex, sends a final clue for a brainteaser, and the winners get to visit some of the places they learned about through their virtual travels.
