CONTEXT
This e-book has been designed to foster reading skills in
seventh grade learners aged between 12-15 years old
who have studied English for one year in a public school
in Bogotá, Colombia called República Dominicana I.E.D.
The students are in the first stages of learning English as a
foreign languages and take English lessons twice a week
during the school year

At the end of the reading activity, students will be able
  to:
• Scanning to locate specific required information
• Identify meaning of simple unfamiliar adjectives.
• Compare places around the world
• Give critical judgments using a basic vocabulary.

Traveling around the world was a fantastic
experience. I had the chance to meet people from
different countries and cultures, which helped me
to know their traditions and customs. Here is my
photo album of such incredible experience.
BALLOONING IN LITHUANIA




                        Lithuania
            was a fantasy ! Sunset ballooning
              is common in this part of the
             world, but it was amazing for
               me because of the beautiful
                landscapes I could admire.
HELLO PARIS!!!!




Visiting the tower Eiffel was really
exciting. I could see the most
enchanting places of the city from the
top of it. It offers an excellent sight of
the most important places in the city
like Senna River or Champs Elisses

Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in
Madrid, Spain is wonderful!!!
I was sitting in the place
where soccer players are
interviewed after the games. I
also admired Real Madrid’s
trophies. This stadium is the
most magnificent I have ever
been to.
CHILDHOOD AGAIN!




Dysneyland Paris is a huge
amusement park with scary
roller coasters and film
scenarios that offers an
unforgettable experience. I
met lots of characters from
animated movies and had lots
of fun there.
ARCHEOLOGICAL
            FINDINGS
                                   Copenhagen, Denmark is stunning . The
                                  mixture of the new and the ancient makes of
                                  this city a magical place.




In Denmark you can be closer to the
origins of life in our planet. There
you can also find modern places.
CHILL OUT IN SWEEDEN




What a relaxing moment !!!!
To be in one of the most
famous cafes around the world
and chill out with friends while
listening to rock music and
drinking a coffee will be
unforgettable.
