Fanning nazariy konsepsiyalari asosan o‘rganiladigan barcha konsepsiyalarga erishish uchun sekin-asta murakkablashib boradigan mashq va masalalarni bajarish orqali o‘rganiladi. Talabalar “Tizimlar va signallarni qayta ishlash” fanida signallarga ishlov berishning asosiy tushunchalari va qo’llanish sohalari, signallarni va signal xususiyatlarini tasniflash, uzluksiz signallarni diskretlash va qayta tiklash, analog signallarni raqamliga konvertatsiyalash, diskret-vaqt signallari va tizimlari (LTI), Z-o’zgartirish va uni qo'llash, diskret vaqt signallarining chastotasini tahlil qilish (DFT va FFT), raqamli filtrlarni loyihalash va filtrlashning asoslari (FIR va IIR), signallarga ishlov berishning usullari (basizli splayn), audioga ishlov berishning asoslari (vayvlet o’zgartirish), tasvirga ishlov berishning asoslari filtrlash hamda siqish kabi nazariy tushunchalarni amaliy mashg’ulotlarda dasturlarini yaratishni o’rganishadi.
