between the Tata Group and Tamil Nadu Industrial
Development Corporation (TIDCO).
Thecompany set up its corporate office in Bangalore
(Karnataka) and its watch manufacturing facility inHosur (Tamil

The India watch market is projected to grow at a CAGR of
20.32% over the forecast period, 2020-2025. India Watch
Market is Segmented by Product Type (Quartz Watch, Digital
Watch, Smart Watch), by Distribution (Online Retail Stores;
Offline Retail Stores: Specialty Stores,
Supermarkets/Hypermarkets, Others) and by End User
(Women, Men, Unisex)
The trade value of the Indian watch industry amounted to
over 33 billion rupees in fiscal year 2019. Of these, imports
accounted for a significantly larger share with about 27 billion
rupees. According to the source, about 40 percent of the
demand from this industry in the country comes from the
