My name is Leticia Gieser. Since I was a child I have loved English language. When I finished my
secondary school I decided to be an English teacher, but my languageknowledgewas reallypoor;
so I studied and prepared with a particular teacher who made me love more this career.
As I continued studying to be a teacher ofEnglish, I learnt several new theories, approaches,
strategies which becomereally importantin my teaching practiceand they helpedme to develop a
successful one.
During my stage as a student, I had the opportunityto work in several school and with children of
different ages, from kinder 3 to 6th grade. And when you are in a classroom, youcould realize
what they want, what they call their attention and how to help them to understand and internalize
this language that, in many cases, could become hard to learn.
So in this process and taking into account all the strategies and approaches that I learnt, I decided
to do different classes. Classes where the students learn but at the same time enjoy whatthey are
doing, being innovative.
It is interesting that the students stop believing that learn English is bored, disgustingand
difficult. So my main aim is that students feel thepleasure oflearning, reading, playing, in every
single class, providing them the tools that theyneed to manage their improvementand making
they feel motivated to learn and use this incrediblelanguage.

This is me

  • 1. My name is Leticia Gieser. Since I was a child I have loved English language. When I finished my secondary school I decided to be an English teacher, but my languageknowledgewas reallypoor; so I studied and prepared with a particular teacher who made me love more this career. As I continued studying to be a teacher ofEnglish, I learnt several new theories, approaches, strategies which becomereally importantin my teaching practiceand they helpedme to develop a successful one. During my stage as a student, I had the opportunityto work in several school and with children of different ages, from kinder 3 to 6th grade. And when you are in a classroom, youcould realize what they want, what they call their attention and how to help them to understand and internalize this language that, in many cases, could become hard to learn. So in this process and taking into account all the strategies and approaches that I learnt, I decided to do different classes. Classes where the students learn but at the same time enjoy whatthey are doing, being innovative. It is interesting that the students stop believing that learn English is bored, disgustingand difficult. So my main aim is that students feel thepleasure oflearning, reading, playing, in every single class, providing them the tools that theyneed to manage their improvementand making they feel motivated to learn and use this incrediblelanguage.
