Statement of the objective

Installation of a packed column for the purpose of de-colorization
of wastewater from the textile industry with chlorine gas.

To determine the physical parameters TDS and TSS and the
chemical parameters pH and COD of wastewater.

To determine the physical parameters TDS and TSS and the
chemical parameters pH and COD of treated waste water.

To compare those parameters of treated sample with the raw
sample.

Conclusions



Installation of Packed Column

De-colorization of wastewater

TDS, TSS and COD values decreased

pH values were in the range of 8-9
Recommendation for further study


It could be done by continuous process

A concentration indicator could be installed after
Chlorine- Air mixing chamber

There should be exist back wash process of the column

The recycle process of the treated sample to the raw
sample tank should be modified

Statement of the objective Installation of a packed column for the purpose of de-colorization of wastewater from the textile industry with chlorine gas. To determine the physical parameters TDS and TSS and the chemical parameters pH and COD of wastewater. To determine the physical parameters TDS and TSS and the chemical parameters pH and COD of treated waste water. To compare those parameters of treated sample with the raw sample.

Recommendation for further study It could be done by continuous process A concentration indicator could be installed after Chlorine- Air mixing chamber There should be exist back wash process of the column The recycle process of the treated sample to the raw sample tank should be modified
