This document argues that there is no such thing as a truly "social product", but rather it is the marketers and managers who can make a product social through their strategies and actions. It suggests focusing on how to build social communities and conversations around products, rather than viewing products themselves as inherently social. The key is leveraging social tools and platforms to better engage customers, learn from them, and foster networks between users.
