Studies on material removal rate of al6061 while turning with coolant and wit...eSAT Journals
Abstract: Material Removal Rate (MRR) is one of the key attribute of machining process which influences productivity. In this work the effect of various turning process parameters on MRR produced on Al6061 (as cast condition) is investigated. Also, the effect of using coolant on MRR while turning is also determined. MRR is found to increase almost linearly with increase in feed rate. Increase in depth of cut and cutting speed is found to increase the MRR by 70.66 % and 16.36 % respectively. Keywords: Al6061, Material Removal Rate, Turning Process, Spindle Speed, Depth of Cut, ANOVA, Taguchi Method

Introduction of green concepts in machining operations is being envisaged by introducing different echo
friendly cooling systems in the modern machine shops. The role of cutting fluids usage in metal cutting is
predominant as it influences the surface quality and production cost. The current work mainly focuses on the
study of chip tool interactions viz. contact pressure, temperature and chip flow pattern on the rake surface in
plain turning operation for different cutting parameters without any cooling medium and analyze the influence
of high pressure air jet as the cooling medium on the chip tool interactions like contact pressure reducing the
tool wear, cutting temperatures thereby increasing tool life.
“Optimization of Cutting Parameters for Turning AISI 316 Stainless Steel Base...IOSRJMCE
The objective of this work is the optimization of the cutting parameters for turning AISI 316 stainless steel to achieve the better surface finish using Taguchi’s methodology. Taguchi Parameter Design is a powerful and efficient method for optimizing quality and performance output of manufacturing processes, thus a powerful tool for meeting this challenge. This work discusses an investigation into the use of Taguchi Parameter Design for optimizing surface roughness generated by a Turning operation. In this method, four control factors viz. cutting speed, feed rate, depth of cut, three different cutting fluids (sherol B, sherol ENF, straight cutting oil) and one work piece material (AISI 316 stainless steel) were investigated at three different levels and the turning operations are done on Banka 1000 lathe machine. Cutting speed followed by cutting fluid has the significant role. The quality characteristic identified is surface roughness. Experiments carried out using L9 (34 ) Orthogonal Array with three different levels of control factors.The test results were analyzed using “smallerthe-better” criteria for Signal-to-Noise ratio in order to optimize the process. The experimental results were analyzed, conformed and successfully used to achieve good surface finish on work piece materials.

Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.

Online Grocery Store is an e-commerce website, which retails various grocery products. This project allows viewing various products available enables registered users to purchase desired products instantly using Paytm, UPI payment processor (Instant Pay) and also can place order by using Cash on Delivery (Pay Later) option. This project provides an easy access to Administrators and Managers to view orders placed using Pay Later and Instant Pay options.
In order to develop an e-commerce website, a number of Technologies must be studied and understood. These include multi-tiered architecture, server and client-side scripting techniques, implementation technologies, programming language (such as PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and MySQL relational databases. This is a project with the objective to develop a basic website where a consumer is provided with a shopping cart website and also to know about the technologies used to develop such a website.
This document will discuss each of the underlying technologies to create and implement an e- commerce website.

Cosmetic shop management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Buying new cosmetic products is difficult. It can even be scary for those who have sensitive skin and are prone to skin trouble. The information needed to alleviate this problem is on the back of each product, but it's thought to interpret those ingredient lists unless you have a background in chemistry.
Instead of buying and hoping for the best, we can use data science to help us predict which products may be good fits for us. It includes various function programs to do the above mentioned tasks.
Data file handling has been effectively used in the program.
The automated cosmetic shop management system should deal with the automation of general workflow and administration process of the shop. The main processes of the system focus on customer's request where the system is able to search the most appropriate products and deliver it to the customers. It should help the employees to quickly identify the list of cosmetic product that have reached the minimum quantity and also keep a track of expired date for each cosmetic product. It should help the employees to find the rack number in which the product is placed.It is also Faster and more efficient way.

Relative motion

36. EXAMPLES
Example 4.3 A carbide-cutting tool
when machined with mild steel
workpiece material at a cutting speed of
50 m/min lasted for 100 minutes.
Determine the life of the tool when the
cutting speed is increased by 25%. At
what speed the tool is to be used to get
a tool life of 180 minute. Assume n =
0.26 in the Taylor’s expression.
37. EXAMPLES
Solution: Given data: v1 = 50 m/min,
T1 = 100 min, n = 0.26
For 20% higher speed
v2 = 1.25v1 = 62.5 m/min
We know that v1 T1^n = v2 T2^n
Substituting the values, we get
T2 = 42.39 minutes
38. EXAMPLES
(b) Let v3 be the cutting speed for tool
life of 180-min.
We know that
v1T1^n = v3T3^n
Substituting the values, we get
v3 = 42.91 m/min
39. EXAMPLES
Example 4.4 In assessing
machinability of different workpiece
materials, the following data were
obtained during machining:
Work mat Tool life Cutting speed
A 25 100
10 150
B 40 200
20 250
40. EXAMPLES
Estimate the relative machinability,
considering material A as standard material
and tool life as cutting speed of 50 m/min as
criteria.
Solution Consider material A
V1=100 m/min. t1=25 min V2=150 m/min
t2=10 min.
We know that
log V + n log t = log C
41. EXAMPLES
Substituting we get
log 100 + n log 25 = log C
log 150 + n log 10 = log C
Solving equations (1) and (2), we get
n = 0.43 and C = 403.55
Hence, tool life equation is V t0.43 = 403.55
42. EXAMPLES
To find speed at t = 50 min.
Substitute t = 50 min equation (3) we get
V60= 75 m/min.
Repeating the same procedure for material B
we get
n=0.33 ,C=631 and V60 = 173.53 m/min.
Relative machinability = [V60 for test material
/ V60 for standard material] × 100
= [173.53/75] × 100
= 231.37%
