I. Objective
At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
a. write/present a close analysis and critical interpretation of literary text in Asia.

III. Procedure
A. Preliminary Activities
1. Prayer
A student will be requested to lead the prayer.
2. Greetings
3. Checking of Attendance
The students will simply look at their seatmates to check if there are absentees.
5. Setting of Classroom Standards
The teacher will post pictures of celebrities at the board and the students will relate it to their
classroom standards.

2. If you are Lumnay or Awiyao, will you still do the same? Will you choose to let her go?
3. What is the message conveyed in the verse 1, refrain, chorus and bridge?
4. Can you cite an incident where in conflict begins in the story?
5. What is the most intense point in the story?
6. What is the falling action of the story?
7. What is the ending part of the story?
E. Application
Read and watch the story “The Small Key” by Paz Latovena, then identify the elements of the story.
