Did you know that 2/3 of you body is made up of water! Water Cycle
Evaporation Evaporation takes place when the sun heats up water in rivers lakes or the ocean and turns it into vapor or steam. The water vapor or steam leaves the river, lake or ocean and goes into the air.
Transpiration Transpiration is a process that occurs in plants and it helps evaporation get water back to the air. The plants lose water through their leaves during this process.
Precipitation Precipitation occurs when so much water has condensed that the air cannot hold it any more. The cloud gets heavier and water falls back in the form of: Rain Snow Sleet Hail
Condensation Once the warm gas hits the cooler air it changes back into liquid and forms clouds .
Collection When water falls back to earth as precipitation, it falls back in the oceans, lakes, rivers, or land. It sometimes runs into the earth where it is stored as ground water for later use

What Happened Next? The Water Cycle starts all over again.
