the most creative, innovative and profitable
entertainment experiences and related products in

Vision Statement:
The Vision of The Walt Disney Company is:

History:
• 1921: Walt created a movie featured a child actress interacting with
animated characters. In 1923 Joined his brother Roy O Disney
• In late 1923: Walt and Roy formed Disney Brother Cartoon Studio
• 1928: Disney created Mickey Mouse, in movie called Steamboat Willie
• 1932: Disney started production of cartoons in color
• 1937: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs debuts
• World War II: US and Canadian government financed Disney for
producing the war related films
• 1955: Walt Disney opened a Disneyland for public
• 1965: Disney World announced the plan of theme parks, hotels and a
city model, in Florida
• 1966: Walt Disney Died because of Lung cancer and Roy became the
president of company.
• 1971: Disney World opened on October 1 for public and Roy died on
December 20
STORY OF FOUNDERS:
• Walt Disney was born on December 5, 1901 in
Chicago
• Used to draw, paint and then sell them in childhood
• In 192, he started a company, which eventually fell
bankrupt
• With his suitcase, and $20 Walt headed to
Hollywood to start a new
• Joined his brother and started Disney Brother co.
• He created mickey mouse in 1928 which changed
everything
• Worked day and night, won 22 academy awards
• Walt Disney passed away on December 15, 1966.
