fastest-growing market in Asia, after China

INDUSTRY GROWTH • The growth of the advt. industry is highly dependent • Developing economy provides numerous opportunities to advertisers • Provides advt. services in all the corners only through media expansion • The economic growth has also led to an increase in the spending power & creating brand conscious consumers
  • 3. ADVT. INDUSTRY GROWTH • As a result, the companies are focusing on creating a strong brand-image by advertising • IMARC Group’s “IAMR&F: 2017-2022” finds that the market registered 11% growth during 2011-16 • It share has reached INR 510 billion in 2016 • By 2022, the Indian advertising market is projected to be the fastest-growing market in Asia, after China
  • 4. ADVT. INDUSTRY GROWTH • This growth can be credited to a number of favorable factors. • The rapid penetration of smart phones and internet in the country • It facilitates the use of digital advertising • Increasing population and favorable government regulations are some of the other growth driving factors. • According to the IAMRF-2017-22 report, the market is further expected to reach a value of INR 997 Billion by 2022.
