1. The Roles and Responsibilities
In this SlideShare I will be discussing the roles and the responsibilities of each group member. This is
an important point in our project because casting the right people in the correct roles will be pivotal
in in whether our movie trailer, magazine cover and poster works and get us all a high grade.
2. Producer
All three of us will be producers on the project as we will have equal control over the film
and make choices within our group. It also means that the work is even because we will be
done two each of separate parts of the movie trailer with all three of us pooling our ideas
together for the last one.
3. Director/Screenwriter
I will be the director/screenwriter because of my experience writing the script for last years
preliminary task and final piece I hope to use that experience to write a successful script. I'm also
taking up the role of director because I feel that I have the leadership qualities to direct a scene with
plenty of people and keep them focused on the project. I also feel that I would not shy away from
telling somebody in the movie that they need to alter their performance to suit the scene.
4. Cinematographer
The cinematographer is Will because of his previous experience with directing his group last years
work. What has convinced me that he is the right person for this role is that the movie was
nominated for an award at the Solent Student Bafta Awards. Even though they did not win I still
think that this represents Will as an important part of our team and would be mistaken to not give
him the role he had last year.
5. Editor
The editor of the film will be Luke again because of his experience of editing his group's work last
year. When watching their movie I was a fan of the editing and knew that Luke was the right person
to edit this movie trailer.
6. Mise-en-scene
The Mise-en-scene in the movie trailer will be done by me even though it covers quite a vast
amount of work I'm confident that I can arrange the rooms we need, organize the costumes and if
necessary actors from the Drama department.
7. Poster Designer
The film poster will be designed by Luke, who is very good with photoshop and photography. He is
also very knowledgeable with codes and conventions of films so I can trust that he would be able to
create a great poster.
8. Film Magazine Cover
The film magazine cover is going to be made by Will this is because he is the best in the group with
Photoshop having three years of teaching with the tool I'm confident that he knows how to make
the best looking poster with his vast knowledge of Photoshop.
