This study examines the role of fraternity in the learning and behavior of 4th year criminology students at Taguig City University during the 2012-2013 academic year. It analyzes factors motivating students to join fraternities, perceived advantages of joining, and perceived disadvantages. The main findings were that students were moderately encouraged to join due to friends already in fraternities. The main perceived advantage was learning about unity and peace. The main perceived disadvantage was new applicants suffering from hazing rituals like paddling and burns.
