3. The triangular trade was the trade route that ran from Great Britain to
African and then to America. This was how most, if not all, of the slaves were
traded sold. This had a major impact on the colonies economy as the slaves were an
integral part of the colonies crop production.
One of the major effect of the Great Awakening was a rebellion against
religious rule. This sprouted many different Protestant denominations throughout
the colonies. The Great Awakening also helped popularize the idea of state rule as
a contract with the people.
The Enlightenment was the basis for many major decisions during the
formation of America. It was the basis for documents such as the Declaration of
Independence and the Constitution. Ideas like freedom from oppression and
natural rights came from the Enlightenment period.
