1. The French Day
In our school we always talk English. But every year there is a
slight change. And you guessed it… we have our fantastic
French day. In our school every year the French “jour” (day)
gets better and better, so now wonder why this year’s one was
the most interesting and fun.
On the start of the dayof the day I went to ourlunchroomwhere
we had some varieties of croissant. They were delicious. After
eating them with pleasure we had line up and then went to the
French assembly. The assembly was great and some parts of it
were embarrassing because my class was on the video in front
of the whole school. Strangely my teacher Mr. Brown was proud
of our class. Next we went to our maths sets where my maths
teacher Mr. Fleet tried to do a French test , but Lukas(a boyfrom
my year) took over as he couldtalk French fluently. Then we had
our usual break and then we went on the fun lesson of D.T. We
were carrying on doing our Ferris wheels. Later on we had our
French activities. My favourite one was flip. Flip is when you
need to look at a card with French langue on it. Then say what
you think it is in English, after tat that you flip it round and see if
your translationwas right or wrong. Further we had the leftover
of our dramalesson. We playeda game where youhave to count
inFrench asa classbut noone isallowedtosay thesame number
at the same time. It was great fun! Maybe you can’t believe it
but we hada French lunchaswell. It was incredible.Forourmain
2. course we had beef burgeon or chicke n (poulet) or ratatouille.
For our dessert we could have either crepes (pancakes) either a
selection of cheeses. Then we had games and went home.
Overall I enjoyed it and had an incredible day!
