This document discusses the distinction between "the day of the Lord" and "the day of Christ". It argues that while the day of the Lord encompasses multiple end times events on earth, the day of Christ refers specifically to events that occur after the rapture involving Jesus Christ, such as the marriage of the Lamb and the judgment seat of Christ. The use of "the day of Christ" in Scripture instead of "the day of the Lord" emphasizes the deity of Jesus Christ and involves a subset of end times events centered around Christ rather than all end times events on earth.

A study of who Jesus is according to the Old Testament and the New Testament. His life on this earth was short even though His goal was monumental, to seek and save that which was lost. He accomplished His goal by paying the price for our sins which we as sinners could not pay. Take a little time to learn about our Savior and Friend, Jesus Christ.
It should be our desire to please God, but how do we please God? God wants you forgive your sins. God wants you to believe in Him and trust Him. God wants you to do his will. God wants you to follow Him. God wants you to forsake all for him. God wants you to be in heaven with Him.

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…

We will learn what Anime is and see what a Christian should consider before watching anime movies? We will also learn a little bit of Shintoism religion and hentai (the craze of internet pornography today).
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

for that day shall not come,
except there come a falling away first,
and that man of sin be revealed,

so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God,

And I will pour upon the house of David, and
upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of

me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn
for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall
be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness
for his firstborn.
11
In that day shall there be a great mourning in
Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the
valley of Megiddon.
Zech 14:1-2
1
Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil
shall be divided in the midst of thee.
2
For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to

people shall not be cut off from the city.
IV. FallingAway
2Tim 4:3-4
3

sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they
heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

Rom 11:20-22
9. 20
Well; because of unbelief they were broken off,
and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but
fear:
21
For if God spared not the natural branches, take
heed lest he also spare not thee.
22
Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God:
on them which fell, severity; but toward thee,
goodness, if thou continue in his goodness:
otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
Rev 3:14-22
14 And unto the angel of the church of the
Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the
faithful and true witness, the beginning of the
creation of God; 15 I know thy works, that thou art
neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither
cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17
Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with
goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not
that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor,
and blind, and naked: 18 I counsel thee to buy of
me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich;
and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and
that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and
anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest
see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be
zealous therefore, and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at
the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and
10. open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup
with him, and he with me. 21 To him that
overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne,
even as I also overcame, and am set down with my
Father in his throne. 22 He that hath an ear, let
him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

V. EventsOf “TheDay”IncludeManyEvents
A human day is made up of many hours, you may
accomplish many tasks in one day.
In the Old Testament, the “day of the Lord” is used
to mark:
1. The invasion of the ten northern tribes by
Assyria in Isaiah 7:14, 17, 20; 10:5–16, 20–21, 24,
27, 32; Amos 5:18–20, 6:9, 11, 14.
12. 2. The destruction of Jerusalem by
Nebuchadnezzar in Joel 1:6–15; Isaiah 2:12, 20,
3:7, 16, 25–26, 5:25–30; Micah 3:1–2; Jeremiah
17:18–19, 27.
3. The Virgin Birth and the First Advent of Christ
in 4 B.C. in Isaiah 7:14–18, 61:1–2; Zechariah 9:9–
10, 14, 16).
4. The Millennial Reign of Christ (yet future) in
Isaiah 19:18–25, 24:21–23, 26:1–4; Hosea 2:18–19;
Zechariah 13:1–6, 14:8–21.
5. The Battle of Armageddon at the Second
Advent in Joel 2:1–11, 3:9–18; Micah 5:1–15;
Isaiah 25:7–11; Malachi 4:1–3; Zechariah 14:1–6;
Ezekiel 38:19.
6. The last judgment at the end of the
Millennium in 2 Peter 3:10; Isaiah 66:22–24;
Daniel 7:9–11.
7. The destruction of Babylon by Persia in Isaiah
13:6, 9, 17, 19.
13. VI. Whythedayof Christnot thedayof the
LORD?
Notice a peculiar expression in Acts 21:11 where
the text read “Thus saith the Holy Ghost.”
Acts 21:11
11
And when he was come unto us, he took
Paul's girdle, and bound his own hands and
feet, and said, Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So
shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that
owneth this girdle, and shall deliver him into the
hands of the Gentiles.
Acts 28:25-26
25
And when they agreed not among themselves,
they departed, after that Paul had spoken one
word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the
prophet unto our fathers,
26
Saying, Go unto this people, and say,
Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not
understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not
perceive:
Isa 6:8-9
8
Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying,
Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then
said I, Here am I; send me.
14. 9
And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye
indeed, but understand not; and see ye
indeed, but perceive not.
The phrase was suddenly changed after appearing—
through a period of more than 2,000 years—as
“Thus saith THE LORD”.
That phrase showed up in the Old Testament more
than 100 times.
Why the substitution in the New Testament?
To reveal to the reader (and Paul’s followers at that
time [Acts 21:11]) the Deity of the Third Person
of the Trinity.
The change in wording was inserted in 2 Thes. 2 for
the same reason, to emphasize the Deity of the
Second Person of the Trinity.
God took two standard Old Testament phrases used
consistently (“Thus saith the Lord” and “the day of
the Lord”) to confirm His tripartite nature:
Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
They were converted to “the day of CHRIST” and
“thus saith the HOLY GHOST.”
15. The change was so radical that modern ‘per’versions
substituted “LORD.” (NIV, ESV, NASV, NKJV in notes).
The term the Holy Spirit used covered “the day of
the Lord” but emphasized a phase of it that could
not be found in the Old Testament.
“the day of Christ” indicates that the “day of the
Lord” overlaps the end of the Church Age and the
beginning of the Millennium, as well as the end of
the Millennium (2 Pet. 3:10).
This makes an eighth application of “the day of the
Lord.” “The day of Christ” would include the
Rapture and the Judgment Seat of Christ (not “God”
as in the grossly corrupt ASV, NASV, and NIV; Rom.
14:10) and the Marriage of Jesus Christ.
The thing is, it would refer to events that take
place “upstairs” that are simultaneous with
what is going on in the Tribulation “downstairs.”
