1. The Beasts in Revelation
Rev 11:1
1) And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the
angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God,
and the altar, and them that worship therein.
This “reed like unto a rod” is a measuring stick.
Notice too, that this “temple of God, and the altar, and
them that worship therein,” to be measured, is not the
heavenly temple referred to in Revelation 8:3–5.
Rev 8:3-5
3) And another angel came and stood at the altar,
having a golden censer; and there was given unto him
much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers
of all saints upon the golden altar which was before
the throne.
4) And the smoke of the incense, which came with the
prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of
the angel's hand.
5) And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire
of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were

2. voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an
earthquake.
The temple that is mentioned in Revelation 8:3–5 is found
mentioned again in Revelation 11:19;
Rev 11:19
19) And the temple of God was opened in heaven,
and there was seen in his temple the ark of his
testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and
thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
the temple that is measured in Revelation 11: 1–2 is on the
earth.
Rev 11:2
2) But the court which is without the temple leave out,
and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and
the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two
months.
This temple and this altar is not in heaven; this is an earthly
temple and an earthly altar on this earth, and Gentiles
tread it down for forty-two months. Therefore, temple

3. worship will be restored in the future. In Matthew 24 the
Lord Jesus Christ speaks of this time.
Matt 24:15
15) When ye therefore shall see the abomination of
desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in
the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
Heb 9:3
3) And after the second veil, the tabernacle which
is called the Holiest of all;
Heb 9:12
12) Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but
by his own blood he entered in once into the
holy place, having obtained eternal redemption
for us.
2Thess 2:4
4) Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all
that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that
he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing
himself that he is God.
In A.D. 70 Jerusalem was not “trodden underfoot”
forty two months.

4. Herod’s Temple, which was destroyed in A.D. 70, had four
courts, but this one has one court.
“And the holy city.”
It is called the “holy city” in verse 2, and “Sodom and
Egypt” in verse 8.
Notice the difference. In verse 8, Jerusalem is spiritually
“Sodom and Egypt” in God’s sight because of its rejection
of the Lord Jesus Christ; nevertheless, as far as the
promises go (and the restoration of Israel at the end of
the Tribulation), it is the “holy city” (Rev. 11:2).
The context of verse 2 is when the Gentiles have finished
treading it down for three and a half years.
It wasn’t called the “holy city” when Titus got through with
it in A.D. 70! (Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 17).
Rev 11:3
3) And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they
shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore
days, clothed in sackcloth.
Rev 10:1

5. 1) And I saw another mighty angel come down from
heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was
upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun,
and his feet as pillars of fire:
Rev 10:9
9) And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give
me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and
eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall
be in thy mouth sweet as honey.
Rev 10:11
11) And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again
before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and
kings.
Rev 11:4
4) These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks
standing before the God of the earth.
Zech 4:11
11) Then answered I, and said unto him, What are
these two olive trees upon the right side of the
candlestick and upon the left side thereof?
Zech 4:14

6. 14) Then said he, These are the two anointed ones,
that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.
The two olive trees are “the two anointed ones (present
tense), that stand by the Lord of the whole earth,” present
in Zechariah 4 (written 530–487 B.C.).
Rev 11:5-6
5) And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of
their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man
will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
6) These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the
days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to
turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all
plagues, as often as they will.
The “two anointed ones that stand by the Lord of the
whole earth” destroy their enemies with fire, and one of
them has “power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the
days of their prophecy.” (verse 2—forty two months;
verse 3—three and a half years; James 5:17, three years
and six months.
Jas 5:17
17) Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are,
and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it

7. rained not on the earth by the space of three years
and six months.
The first witness is an “anointed” prophet that stands “by
the Lord of the whole earth,” fire proceeds out of his
mouth to destroy his enemies, and he “shuts heaven” so
that it doesn’t rain for “three and a half years.”
1Kgs 17:1
1) And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants
of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel
liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew
nor rain these years, but according to my word.
Elijah stood before the Lord of the whole earth. He was
present on the Mount of Transfiguration (Matt. 17) along
with Moses.
Rev 11:6
6) … “: and have power over waters to turn them to blood,
and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they
will.”
The second witness has “power over waters to turn them
to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often
as they will.” There is no doubt about who this is; this is
Moses.

8. Exod 33:20-21
20) And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there
shall no man see me, and live.
21) And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by
me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:
Rev 11:7-8
7) And when they shall have finished their testimony, the
beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make
war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
8) And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great
city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where
also our Lord was crucified.
In Verse 7, there appears this character called “the beast.”
Revelation 13 will discuss this beast’s “reign” in detail. For
now let’s identify this “beast,” as a man.
“And when they shall have finished their testimony,
the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit
shall make war against them.”
This beast is not the “revived Roman Empire.” The
revived Roman Empire does not come up “out of the
bottomless pit,” and the bottomless pit is not in Europe.

9. Therefore, to make the beast of Revelation 13 the
“revived Roman Empire” is wrong.
You can make the beast the revived Roman Empire when
you talk about his domain and the ten kings reigning
with him, but when you talk about the beast himself, the
beast is a man in the bottomless pit.
Revelation 13:18—“Here is wisdom. Let him that hath
understanding count the number of the beast: for it is
the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred
threescore and six.”
Not the “number of man,” but the number of “a” man.
The number of man is 6, this one is a “superman” and an
unholy trinity so his number is 666.
The beast is a man (singular). You were told this in the Old
Testament. You were told that a beast always represents
a man before it represents a kingdom.
Notice in Daniel 7 the four beasts (vs. 3) are said to be
four “kings” (vs. 17) before they are identified as
“kingdoms” (vs. 23).
Dan 7:3
3) And four great beasts came up from the sea,
diverse one from another.

10. Dan 7:17
17) These great beasts, which are four, are four kings,
which shall arise out of the earth.
Dan 7:23
23) Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth
kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all
kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall
tread it down, and break it in pieces.
Daniel 7:17—“These great beasts, which are four, are
four kings, which shall arise out of the earth.”
The beast is a man; he is a king; he comes out of the
bottomless pit.
Rev 9:11
11) And they had a king over them, which is the angel of
the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is
Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name
Apollyon.
The inhabitants of the “bottomless pit” have a king, who
has a name. (Rev. 9. This king is identified as the angel of

11. death, or the “Destroyer” with death personified in Rev.
6:8.)
This beast is-
 a king;
 he is “the angel of the bottomless pit.”
 He has a Hebrew name and
 a Greek name; both his names mean “Destroyer.”
He is now in the bottomless pit; he is the king of the
bottomless pit.
In the Tribulation, he “ascends” up out of the bottomless
pit.
Revelation 17:8—“The beast that thou sawest was (He
was a man not living when John wrote Revelation.), and is
not (He was not living at the time John wrote; then he was
living before John wrote.); and shall (future) ascend out of
the bottomless pit (He is in the bottomless pit now.), and
go into perdition.”
2Thess 2:3
3) Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day
shall not come, except there come a falling away first,
and that man of sin be revealed, the son of
perdition;

12. Rev 9:11
11) And they had a king over them, which is the angel
of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew
tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his
name Apollyon.
Rev 17:8
8) The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and
shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into
perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall
wonder, whose names were not written in the book of
life from the foundation of the world, when they
behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
John 17:12
12) While I was with them in the world, I kept them in
thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and
none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that
the scripture might be fulfilled.
Zech 11:12-13
12) And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me
my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my
price thirty pieces of silver.

13. 13) And the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the
potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them.
And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to
the potter in the house of the LORD.
Notice that immediately following the betrayal of Christ by
Judas, the next man mentioned is the Antichrist.
Here you have a reference to Judas Iscariot selling Jesus
Christ for thirty pieces of silver, casting them on the floor
of the house of the treasury, and the Pharisees taking
them to buy the potter’s field to bury strangers in.
But notice the next three verses!
Zech 11:15-17
15) And the LORD said unto me, Take unto thee yet
the instruments of a foolish shepherd.
16) For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land,
which shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall
seek the young one, nor heal that that is broken, nor
feed that that standeth still: but he shall eat the flesh
of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces.
17) Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock!
the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right
eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye
shall be utterly darkened.

14. This shepherd is spelled “i d o-l”, and not “i d-l e”. (This is
not “idle” in the sense of being lazy.)
As the Baal worshippers, Ahab, Jezebel, and the Phoenician
Baalites, this shepherd worships idols. He uses images “as
an aid to worship,” and sets himself up in the temple for
worship.
In Zechariah 11:15–17 then, we have a reference to the
Antichrist, and it follows a reference to Judas Iscariot.
Judas Iscariot is called the “son of perdition” in the New
Testament.
John 6:70-71
70) Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you
twelve, and(+) one of you is(=) a devil(13)?
71) He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for
he it was that should betray him, being one of the
twelve.
Here you find that Judas, far from being a human being,
was “a devil,” as those who inhabit the bottomless pit.
Although he had a human father (as Cain), he was “of that
wicked one,” as Cain.
Acts 1:25

15. 25) That he may take part of this ministry and
apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell,
that he might go to his own place.
1. There is going to come a man upon this earth called
“the beast.”
2. He is a man.
3. He is a man who was living before John wrote
Revelation; he was not living at the time John wrote
Revelation; he will come back to this earth by ascending
up out of the bottomless pit, like the Apollos of Greek
mythology. When he comes back to this earth, he will go
into the temple of God and profess to be God incarnate in
the flesh.
4. As the “son of perdition,” he is identified in 2
Thessalonians 2 as the Antichrist.
5. When this man died, he went to “his own place,” which
was not hell but the “bottomless pit.”
6. This man is now in the bottomless pit, and as a devil, he
is king over the bottomless pit. It is his own place. He has
two names which both mean “destruction.” He is the angel
of the bottomless pit.

16. You will then have the same problem in understanding
him that you have in understanding “the Trinity.” You will
have God the Father imitated by Satan the father,
incarnating himself in a man called the “son of perdition”
(Judas Iscariot), and filled with the unclean spirit, to imitate
the Holy Spirit. This beast, this man, this “son of
perdition”—this resurrected Judas Iscariot, this
transmigration of soul (as taught by Buddha), this one
coming back into reincarnation (as taught by Hinduism)—
will come back upon this earth and profess to be God in
the flesh, go to the temple at Jerusalem, sit down in the
holy of holies, and demand human sacrifice to himself
(Rev. 6). To him will witness Moses and Elijah exactly as
Moses and Aaron witnessed to Pharaoh, exactly as Elijah
and Elisha witnessed to Ahab.
Rev 11:8-9
8) And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great
city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where
also our Lord was crucified.
9) And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and
nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half,
and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

17. Notice the peculiar expression “dead bodies.” You were
told they were killed (vs. 7), and there is no reason to use
the word “dead” with “bodies.” But the Holy Spirit uses
“dead bodies” as a deliberate reference to the fact that
the body has been separated from the head. (in Rev. 6 the
human sacrifices made at the altar in the temple, you will
see that the people in the Tribulation who are martyred for
Christ’s sake, have their heads cut off [Rev. 20:4].)
So, these two witnesses are decapitated. This means that
Elijah, although he did not die, will die. He was caught up
alive in 2 Kings 2, but he will die in Revelation 11. It means
that Moses dies twice! Moses died and was buried on Mt.
Pisgah in the plains of Jericho. He was taken up (Jude 9),
and he’ll come back to this earth and die again in the
Tribulation.
Now we will jump to chapter 13 and investigate this
“beast” in more detail.
Rev 13:1-2
1) And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast
rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns,
and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the
name of blasphemy.

18. 2) And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and
his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the
mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and
his seat, and great authority.
In Daniel 7 (the vision of the four beasts), we see that
Daniel’s four beasts match the ones in Revelation. The
three beasts who are described first in Daniel 7 (and they
come up out of the great sea exactly as in Rev. 13:1) are
said to be a lion, a bear, and a leopard exactly as you find
a leopard, bear, and lion in Revelation 13:2.
That isn’t all. In Revelation 13:2, the beast is a leopard,
bear, lion, and dragon.
In Daniel 7, he is a lion, bear, leopard, and then a
nondescript beast who has ten horns (Dan. 7:7–8).
Dan 7:7-8
7) After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a
fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong
exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured
and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the
feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that
were before it; and it had ten horns.
8) I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up
among them another little horn, before whom there
were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots:

19. and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of
man, and a mouth speaking great things.
The beast in Daniel 7 has the same number of horns found
in Revelation 13:1–2. That is, these beasts are identical.
The fourth beast of Daniel’s vision (Dan. 7:7) is the beast of
Revelation 13:1–2. He is a nondescript beast and is not
named in Daniel 7:7–8. He has more than one head like
“leviathan,” and he has ten horns.
Job 41:1-10
1) Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook? or his
tongue with a cord which thou lettest down?
2) Canst thou put an hook into his nose? or bore his jaw
through with a thorn?
3) Will he make many supplications unto thee? will he
speak soft words unto thee?
4) Will he make a covenant with thee? wilt thou take him
for a servant for ever?
5) Wilt thou play with him as with a bird? or wilt thou bind
him for thy maidens?
6) Shall the companions make a banquet of him? shall
they part him among the merchants?

20. 7) Canst thou fill his skin with barbed irons? or his head
with fish spears?
8) Lay thine hand upon him, remember the battle, do no
more.
9) Behold, the hope of him is in vain: shall not one be cast
down even at the sight of him?
10) None is so fierce that dare stir him up: who then is
able to stand before me?
1. The being described is “king over all the children of
PRIDE” (vs.34).
2. Unlike the “crocodile, he is “made without FEAR,” and,
unlike the crocodile, he beholds “all high things” (vss. 33–
34).
3. Unlike the crocodile, Leviathan has more than one HEAD
(Rev. 12:1–6, Psa. 74:14); in this respect he matches the
dragon of Revelation 12.
Rev 12:1-6 1 And there appeared a great wonder in
heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon
under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve
stars: 2 And she being with child cried, travailing in
birth, and pained to be delivered. 3 And there
appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a
great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns,

21. and seven crowns upon his heads. 4 And his tail drew
the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast
them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the
woman which was ready to be delivered, for to
devour her child as soon as it was born. 5 And she
brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations
with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto
God, and to his throne. 6 And the woman fled into the
wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God,
that they should feed her there a thousand two
hundred and threescore days.
4. But all doubt is dispelled about Leviathan’s identification
when Isaiah tells us that “Leviathan” is a DRAGON and a
SERPENT (Isa. 27:1).
Isa 27:1 In that day the LORD with his sore and great
and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing
serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he
shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.
Ps 74:13-14
13) Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou
brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters.

22. 14) Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces, and
gavest him to be meat to the people inhabiting the
wilderness.
Ps 104:25-26
25) So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things
creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.
26) There go the ships: there is that leviathan, whom
thou hast made to play therein.
Exod 16:15
15) And when the children of Israel saw it, they said
one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it
was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread
which the LORD hath given you to eat.
Ps 78:24
24) And had rained down manna upon them to eat,
and had given them of the corn of heaven.
Mic 7:14-15
14) Feed thy people with thy rod, the flock of
thine heritage, which dwell solitarily in the wood,
in the midst of Carmel: let them feed in Bashan
and Gilead, as in the days of old.

23. 15) According to the days of thy coming out of
the land of Egypt will I shew unto him marvellous
things.
Leviathan plays in the great deep, he is a multi-headed
serpent. When God feed the children of Israel in the
wilderness, he broke one of Leviathan’s heads and rained
it down from the second heaven (as he will do again in the
Tribulation).
1. Leviathan is a water animal of the serpentine,
reptilian, or amphibious class (vss. 15, 31).
Job 41:15 His scales are his pride, shut up together as
with a close seal.
Job 41:31 He maketh the deep to boil like a pot: he
maketh the sea like a pot of ointment.
2. Leviathan has seven heads (Rev. 12:1–16), and he is
RED; not green, gray, or dark green (as a crocodile) or
gray, brown, or white (as a whale).
Rev 12:1-16 1 And there appeared a great wonder in
heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon
under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve
stars… 3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven;
and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and
ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads… 9 And the

24. great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the
Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he
was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast
out with him.
3. Leviathan can whip anyone, anytime, anywhere (vs. 8),
although he has “no hope” (vs. 9).
Job 41:8-9 8 Lay thine hand upon him, remember the
battle, do no more. 9 Behold, the hope of him is in vain:
shall not one be cast down even at the sight of him?
4. If you could see Leviathan (vs. 9), you would faint (2
Kings 6:17).

2Kgs 6:17 And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee,
open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the
eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the
mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round
about Elisha.
5. Nobody can stand before Leviathan; so how will they
stand before the Creator who made him (vs. 10)?
Job 41:10 None is so fierce that dare stir him up: who
then is able to stand before me?

25. 6. Nothing but the word of God can sunder his scales
(vs. 17) or reach his bones (Heb. 4:12, 13), and that is
why Christ uses the Sword of the Spirit (Luke 4:1–13)
in dealing with him.
Job 41:17 They are joined one to another, they stick
together, that they cannot be sundered.
Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and
sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the
dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and
marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of
the heart.
Heb 4:13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest
in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the
eyes of him with whom we have to do.
Luke 4:1-13 1 And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost
returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the
wilderness, 2 Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in
those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended,
he afterward hungered. 3 And the devil said unto him, If
thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be
made bread. 4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is
written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by
every word of God. 5 And the devil, taking him up into
an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of
the world in a moment of time. 6 And the devil said unto
him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them:

26. for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I
give it. 7 If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be
thine. 8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee
behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the
Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. 9 And he
brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of
the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God,
cast thyself down from hence: 10 For it is written, He shall
give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee: 11 And
in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time
thou dash thy foot against a stone. 12 And Jesus
answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt
the Lord thy God. 13 And when the devil had ended all
the temptation, he departed from him for a season.
7. Leviathan is like a real Chinese dragon—firebreathing
and all (vss. 18–21).
Job 41:18-21 18 By his neesings a light doth shine, and
his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning. 19 Out of his
mouth go burning lamps, and sparks of fire leap out. 20
Out of his nostrils goeth smoke, as out of a seething pot
or caldron. 21 His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth
out of his mouth.

27. 8. Leviathan is worshipped, by those who raise him up
(Job 3:8), with self-mutilation (vs. 25, cf. 1 Kings
18:28).
Job 3:8 Let them curse it that curse the day, who are
ready to raise up their mourning.
Job 41:25 When he raiseth up himself, the mighty are
afraid: by reason of breakings they purify themselves.
1Kgs 18:28 And they cried aloud, and cut themselves after
their manner with knives and lancets, till the blood gushed
out upon them.
9. You cannot fight Leviathan with carnal weapons (2
Cor. 10:4), for he is a spiritual being (vv. 26–29).
2Cor 10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal,
but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong
holds;)
Job 41:26-29 26 The sword of him that layeth at him
cannot hold: the spear, the dart, nor the habergeon. 27 He
esteemeth iron as straw, and brass as rotten wood. 28 The
arrow cannot make him flee: slingstones are turned with
him into stubble. 29 Darts are counted as stubble: he
laugheth at the shaking of a spear.
10. His followers, who are like him (John 8:40–44),
smoke cigarettes (vs. 19) and kindle the coal by

and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer
from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because
there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he
speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Job 41:19 Out of his mouth go burning lamps, and sparks
of fire leap out.
Job 41:21 His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth
out of his mouth.
Rev 14:10-11 10 The same shall drink of the wine of the
wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into
the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with
fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and
in the presence of the Lamb: 11 And the smoke of their
torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no

and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
11. The “deep” of verse 31 is not the Jordan River or
the Mediterranean Sea. The “deep” of verse 31 is the
deep of Genesis 1:1–3 and the deep of Job 38:30.
Job 41:31 He maketh the deep to boil like a pot: he
maketh the sea like a pot of ointment.
Gen 1:1-3 1 In the beginning God created the heaven
and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void;
and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the
Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And
God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
Job 38:30 The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face
of the deep is frozen.
12. The “deep” (vs. 32) is not “upon earth” (vs. 33).
Leviathan is in the waters over your head, beyond the
solar system.
Job 41:32-33 32 He maketh a path to shine after him;
one would think the deep to be hoary. 33 Upon earth
there is not his like, who is made without fear.
Leviathan is a detailed description of Satan as God
sees him.

30. Leviathan is one member of the unholy trinity; Behemoth
in Job 40 is another member of the terrible trio.
Job 40:15
15) Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he
eateth grass as an ox.
Behemoth is a plural word; it means “animals”. These
animals are named twice in the Bible (Dan 7:3-7; Rev 13:1-
2).
Behemoth is a prophetic reference to the Son of Perdition
(who is a man) and is likened to a mutant monster
composed of three animals.
Dan 7:3-7 3 And four great beasts came up from the
sea, diverse one from another. 4 The first was like a
lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings
thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the
earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a
man's heart was given to it. 5 And behold another
beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself
on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it
between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it,
Arise, devour much flesh. 6 After this I beheld, and lo
another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it

31. four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads;
and dominion was given to it. 7 After this I saw in the
night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and
terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron
teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped
the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from
all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.
Rev 13:1-2 1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea,
and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven
heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns,
and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. 2 And
the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his
feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the
mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power,
and his seat, and great authority.
This is a counterfeit imitation of Jesus Christ, whom the
Bible likens to a “lamb” (John 1:29), a “serpent” (John 3:14),
and a “Lion” (Rev 5:5).
John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming
unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which
taketh away the sin of the world.
John 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the
wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
Rev 5:5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep
not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of

32. David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose
the seven seals thereof.
The Antichrist is likened to a “leopard”, a “bear”, and a
“lion” (Rev 13:2).
Rev 13:2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a
leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and
his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon
gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
He is also like an “ox” and connected with Satan who, as a
cherub (Ezek 28:14), he has a split foot like an ox (Ezek
1:7). Nebuchadnezzar is his type (Dan 4:33), he eats grass
like an ox for 7 years.
Ezek 28:14 Thou art the anointed cherub that
covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the
holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down
in the midst of the stones of fire.
Ezek 1:7 And their feet were straight feet; and the
sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot: and
they sparkled like the colour of burnished brass.
Dan 4:33 The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon
Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and
did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the
dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles'
feathers, and his nails like birds' claws.

33. Dan 4:16 Let his heart be changed from man's, and
let a beast's heart be given unto him; and let seven
times pass over him.
The unholy trinity is:
Behemoth is Satan the Son
Leviathan is Satan the Father
Abaddon (Rev 9:11) is the unclean Spirit
Now back to the beasts in Rev 13-
Daniel 7:17— “These great beasts, which are four, are
four kings, which shall arise out of the earth.”
Yet, we read in Daniel 7:3 that the
“four great beasts came up from the sea.”
Then, the reference to the “sea” is to a body of water on
this earth, and not a “multitude of people” as the “waters”
in Revelation 17.
The word in Daniel is “sea,” and the word in Revelation is
“waters.” These are two different words.
Daniel 7:17— “These great beasts, which are four,
are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth.”

34. Notice, the Scripture says “kings” first, and then
“kingdoms.”
Daniel 7:23— “Thus he said, The fourth beast shall
be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be
diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the
whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it
in pieces.”
This is the “fourth kingdom.” Therefore, the four beasts in
this passage begin with Persia and not Babylon, if you’re
going to match them with Daniel’s image.
Notice the context of Daniel 7.
Daniel 7:22— “Until the Ancient of days came, and
judgment was given to the saints of the most
High; and the time came that the saints possessed
the kingdom.”
This is as you find a post Tribulation Rapture of saints in
the Tribulation, and as the passage in Revelation 14:12
says,
“Here is the patience of the saints: here are they
that keep the commandments of God, and the
faith of Jesus.”

35. In this passage in Daniel 7 notice the Antichrist in 7:25, and
notice the peculiar expression “the end” in 7:26 and 7:28,
exactly as you find it in Matthew 24:13.
Matthew 24:13— “But he that shall endure unto
the end, the same shall be saved.”
Hebrews 3:14— “For we are made partakers of
Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence
stedfast unto the end.”
So, in Revelation 13:1–2, and in Daniel 7 we are plainly
told that it is a “king,” as well as a “kingdom.”
This must be remembered because “the beast” is “a man”
and “a king,” and he is the main subject of Revelation 13.
Notice:
Revelation 13:1—“a beast,” 13:2—“the beast,” 13:3—
“the beast,” 13:4—“the beast,” “the beast,” “the
beast,” 13:14—“the beast,” “the beast,” 13:15—“the
beast, “the beast,” “the beast,” 13:17—“the beast,”
13:18—“the beast,” 14:9—“the beast,” 14:11—“the
beast,” 16:2—“the beast,” 16:10—“the beast,” 16:13—
“the beast,” 17:7—“the beast,” 17:8—“the beast,” “the
beast,” 17:11—“the beast,” 17:12—“the beast,”
17:13—“the beast,” 17:16—“the beast,” 17:17—“the
beast.”

36. There are a great deal more references to “THE BEAST” in
four chapters of the New Testament than you have to
water baptism in the entire body of the Pauline Epistles.
This “beast” is very important.
Revelation 13:1—“And I [John] stood upon the sand of
the sea [Mediterranean], and saw a beast rise up out of
the sea [This beast is like a sea monster—Job 41.], having
seven heads and ten horns [We know that this beast is
closely connected with Satan because in Rev. 12:3 it says,
“a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten
horns.”], and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his
heads the name of blasphemy [not crowns as in Rev.
12:3].”
Notice a slight difference. The “beast” in 13:1 has “upon
his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of
blasphemy,”
and the “beast” in 12:3 has
“seven crowns upon his heads” and no crowns on the ten
horns.

37. In Revelation 12:3, it is a “red dragon,” in Revelation
13:1–2 it is a “leopard” with the “feet of a bear” and the
“mouth of a lion.”
In Revelation 12:3 it is “seven heads” with “seven
crowns,” in
Revelation 13:1 it is “seven heads” with “ten crowns.”
In Revelation 12:3 it is “ten horns” that are crownless.
In Revelation 13:1 each horn has a crown.
So there has been a change! This “great red dragon” has
come down to the earth (He’s no longer in heaven.), and
he comes up out of the sea in the Mediterranean area!
The “beast” of Revelation 13:1–2 is not identical with the
beast of Revelation 12, but they are connected.
The beast in Revelation 12 is Satan, and the one in
Revelation 13 is Antichrist, who gets his power from Satan.
Notice in Revelation 13:2,
“and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and
great authority.”

38. The “dragon” has a S E A T! This “dragon” was identified
as Satan in Revelation 12, and is said to have a “seat” in
Revelation 13:2.
We have a reference to this in Revelation 2:13.
Revelation 2:13— “I know thy works, and where thou
dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is: and thou
holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith,
even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful
martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan
dwelleth.”
“Where Satan’s seat is.” Where he sits.
He’ll sit in the most holy place on the mercy seat in the
temple in the Tribulation. But, he has a seat right now.
If the Devil sat in his seat and spoke from his seat—
“out of the chair”
—to give infallible doctrine, do you know where he would
be speaking from? He would be speaking “ex cathedra,”
out of the chair, “out from the seat.”
Then this “beast” who comes “up out of the sea” is a “man”
(Rev. 13:18).
The “beast” is represented as a “leopard” who has the “feet
of a bear” and the “mouth of a lion.”

39. He is a man; he is connected with ten kings when he
appears; and this ten king kingdom that he reigns over will
appear in the Mediterranean area.
This beast is connected with the “dragon,” and gets all the
power that the “dragon” has, because when he comes up
this time, he is the Devil incarnate.
When Judas appeared the first time, Satan merely
entered into him to perform a work, but Judas was “a
devil,” not a human being.
He becomes “the Devil” in the Tribulation. (He was not the
Devil, but he will be the Devil.)
Satan will incarnate himself in this man, and this man will
become an unholy trinity, exactly as the Lord Jesus Christ
was an incarnation of the Holy Trinity.
This unholy trinity has three parts in it, exactly as the Holy
Trinity.
Revelation 16:13— “And I saw three unclean spirits like
frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the
mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false
prophet.”
(1) Dragon; Satan the father;
(2) Beast; Satan the son;

40. (3) False prophet; Satan the unclean spirit.
Then, this man is a Satanic trinity, incarnated in the flesh,
to represent the Lord Jesus Christ. In the Old Testament,
you’ll find all three members of this unholy trinity pictured,
or typified, in one verse—
Numbers 22:41. All three of the names in this verse begin
with a “B,” the second letter in the alphabet.
Num 22:41
41) And it came to pass on the morrow, that Balak
took Balaam, and brought him up into the high
places of Baal, that thence he might see the utmost
part of the people.
 Balak, the false king, type of Antichrist, took
 Balaam, the false prophet, type of the false prophet
in Revelation 13, to the places of
 Baal, the dragon, Satan, type of the false god!
When God wants to reveal the Antichrist (the Devil’s christ,
the Devil’s anointed, the Devil’s “savior”), the beast that is
picked is a beast that has spots all over him.

41. “Can the Ethiopian (Ham, Nimrod) change his
skin, or the leopard his spots?”
This beast is spotted all over.
He’s integrated! A leopard is yellow brown, like an Asiatic;
he has a white stomach, like a European; he has black
spots all over him, like an African! This is one composite
man, put together to represent all three races.
He is a half breed Roman Catholic Syrian Jew. He is a
Hamitic Jew who is over the Gentile church.
He is a perfect composite, one world, united, inter-related,
integrated, synthesized, completely representative, total
abomination who will have a universal appeal.
“Spots,” wherever they are found in the Bible, always
indicate something bad; they never indicate anything
good.
Ephesians 5:27—“That he might present it [the
Church] to himself a glorious church, not having spot,
or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be
holy and without blemish.”
Jude 12—“These [unsaved people] are spots in your
feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding

42. themselves without fear: clouds they are without
water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit
withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the
roots.”
Jude 23—“And others save with fear, pulling them
[people who have leprosy from taking the mark of the
beast] out of the fire, hating even the garment
spotted by the flesh.”
We find that a spot falls on those who have the mark of
the beast, and this spot is leprosy, connected with a
“leopard.”
If you think this is farfetched, don’t forget
Leviticus 13 (watch the 13’s!), where you’ll find that spot in
verse 13, which is leprosy, and it is called a “bright spot” in
verse 26 (2 x 13), and verse 39 (3 x 13).
This spot is a plague that falls on a man and eats into his
clothes and his house, as well as his body.
