together, saith the LORD, which have burned incense upon the
mountains, and blasphemed me upon the hills: therefore will I
measure their former work into their bosom.”
Matthew 7:2 “For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be
judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured
to you again.”
Jeremiah 46:28 “Fear thou not, O Jacob my servant,
saith the LORD: for I am with thee; for I will make a full
end of all the nations whither I have driven thee: but I will
not make a full end of thee, but correct thee in measure;
yet will I not leave thee wholly unpunished.

42 months X 30 days/month = 1260 days
1260 days = 1260 years

saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like
unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine
brass; I know thy works, and charity, and
service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy

Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess,
to teach and to seduce my servants to commit
fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto

power unto my two witnesses, and
they shall prophesy a thousand two
hundred and threescore days,

Deuteronomy 19:15 “One witness
shall not rise up against a man for
any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin
that he sinneth: at the mouth of two
witnesses, or at the mouth of three
witnesses, shall the matter be
established.” (2 Corinthians 13:1)

witnesses, saith the LORD, and
my servant whom I have chosen:
that ye may know and believe me,
and understand that I am he: before
me there was no God formed,
neither shall there be after me.”

the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to
the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof: And two
olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the
other upon the left side thereof. So I answered and spake to
the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my
lord? Then the angel that talked with me answered and said
unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my
lord. Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is
the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by
might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.
Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou
shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone
thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.

17. Zechariah 4:12-14 “And I answered
again, and said unto him, What be these
two olive branches which through the two
golden pipes empty the golden oil out of
themselves? And he answered me and
said, Knowest thou not what these be?
And I said, No, my lord. Then said he,
These are the two anointed ones, that
stand by the Lord of the whole earth.”

18. Revelation 11:5, 6 “And if any man
will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of
their mouth, and devoureth their
enemies: and if any man will hurt them,
he must in this manner be killed. These
have power to shut heaven, that it
rain not in the days of their prophecy:
and have power over waters to turn
them to blood, and to smite the earth
with all plagues, as often as they will.”

19. Jeremiah 5:14 “Wherefore thus saith the LORD
God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold,
I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this
people wood, and it shall devour them.”
1 Kings 17:1 “And Elijah the Tishbite, who was
of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the
LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand,
there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but
according to my word.”
Exodus 8:13 “And the LORD did according to
the word of Moses; and the frogs died out of the
houses, out of the villages, and out of the fields.”

20. “What are the witnesses, then? I answer,
written testimony may be witnesses; and the
last will and testament of a man, written,
signed, sealed, and ratified by death, is
considered the best testimony in the world, and
is held almost sacred among all men and in all
nations. Then we must conclude that Christ's
two witnesses must be the Old and New
Testaments; for nothing short can testify, in this
our day, concerning Christ. Yes; we have the
testimony of Christ himself to this point. John

think ye have eternal life, and they are they that

testimony, the beast that
ascendeth out of the bottomless
pit shall make war against them,
and shall overcome them, and kill
them.”

22. Revelation 9:1 “And the fifth angel
sounded, and I saw a star fall from
heaven unto the earth: and to him was
given the key of the bottomless pit.
And he opened the bottomless pit; and
there arose a smoke out of the pit, as
the smoke of a great furnace; and the
sun and the air were darkened by
reason of the smoke of the pit.”

24. 2 Thessalonians 2:7-12 “For the mystery of iniquity doth
already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be
taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be
revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of
his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his
coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of
Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And
with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that
perish; because they received not the love of the truth,
that they might be saved.. And for this cause God shall
send them strong delusion, that they should believe a
lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the
truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”

25. Revelation 17:8 “The beast that thou
sawest was, and is not; and shall
ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go
into perdition: and they that dwell on the
earth shall wonder, whose names were
not written in the book of life from the
foundation of the world, when they
behold the beast that was, and is not,
and yet is.”

26. Revelation 20:1-3 “And I saw an angel
come down from heaven, having the key of
the bottomless pit and a great chain in his
hand. And he laid hold on the dragon,
that old serpent, which is the Devil, and
Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
And cast him into the bottomless pit,
and shut him up, and set a seal upon him,
that he should deceive the nations no
more, till the thousand years should be
fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a
little season.

Sodom were wicked and sinners
before the LORD exceedingly.”
Exceedingly = To a very great
degree; in a degree beyond what is
usual;

31. Genesis 18:20 “And the LORD
said, Because the cry of Sodom
and Gomorrah is great, and
because their sin is very
grievous”

32. Isaiah 3:9 “The show of their
countenance doth witness against
them; and they declare their sin as
Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto
their soul! for they have rewarded
evil unto themselves.”

33. Ezekiel 16:49, 50 “Behold, this was
the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride,
fulness of bread, and abundance of
idleness was in her and in her
daughters, neither did she
strengthen the hand of the poor
and needy. And they were haughty,
and committed abomination before
me”

Egypt. Behold, the LORD
rideth upon a swift cloud,
and shall come into Egypt:
and the idols of Egypt shall
be moved at his presence,
and the heart of Egypt shall
melt in the midst of it.”

37. Exodus 8:31, 32 “And the LORD
did according to the word of
Moses; and he removed the
swarms of flies from Pharaoh,
from his servants, and from his
people; there remained not one.
And Pharaoh hardened his heart
at this time also, neither would he
let the people go.”

38. “The ‘great city’ in whose streets the witnesses are
slain, and where their dead bodies lie, ‘is spiritually
Egypt.’ Of all nations presented in Bible history,
Egypt most boldly denied the existence of the living
God, and resisted his commands. No monarch ever
ventured upon more open and high-handed rebellion
against the authority of Heaven than did the king of
Egypt. When the message was brought him by
Moses, in the name of the Lord, Pharaoh proudly
answered, ‘Who is Jehovah, that I should obey his
voice to let Israel go? I know not Jehovah, neither will
I let Israel go.’ Exodus 5:2. This is atheism; and the
nation represented by Egypt would give voice to a
similar denial of the claims of the living God, and
would manifest a like spirit of unbelief and defiance.”

39. “According to the words of the prophet, then, a
little before the year 1798 some power of
Satanic origin and character would rise to
make war upon the Bible. And in the land
where the testimony of God's two witnesses
should thus be silenced, there would be
manifest the atheism of the Pharaoh, and the
licentiousness of Sodom.
This prophecy has received a most exact
and striking fulfillment in the history of

40. “Spiritualism asserts that men are unfallen
demigods; that ‘each mind will judge itself;’ that
‘true knowledge places men above all law;’ that
‘all sins committed are innocent;’ for ‘whatever
is, is right,’ and ‘God doth not condemn.’ The
basest of human beings it represents as in
heaven, and highly exalted there. Thus it
declares to all men, ‘It matters not what you do;
live as you please, heaven is your home.’
Multitudes are thus led to believe that desire is
the highest law, that license is liberty, and that
man is accountable only to himself.

41. With such teaching given at the
very outset of life, when impulse is
strongest, and the demand for self-
restraint and purity is most urgent,
where are the safeguards of virtue?
what is to prevent the world from
becoming a second Sodom?

42. At the same time anarchy is seeking to sweep
away all law, not only divine, but human. The
centralizing of wealth and power; the vast
combinations for the enriching of the few at the
expense of the many; the combinations of the
poorer classes for the defense of their interests
and claims; the spirit of unrest, of riot and
bloodshed; the world-wide dissemination of the
same teachings that led to the French
Revolution--all are tending to involve the whole
world in a struggle similar to that which
