2. 2
Who is the Remnant?
• The universal church is
composed of all who truly
believe in Christ, but in the
last days, a time of widespread
apostasy, a remnant has been
called out to keep the
commandments of God and
the faith of Jesus.
3. 3
Revelation 12:17
• (17) And the dragon was wroth
with the woman, and went to make
war with the remnant of her seed,
which keep the commandments of
God, and have the testimony of
Jesus Christ.
4. 4
Revelation 14: 6 -12
• (6) And I saw another angel fly in the
midst of heaven, having the everlasting
gospel to preach unto them that dwell on
the earth, and to every nation, and
kindred, and tongue, and people,
• (7) Saying with a loud voice, Fear God,
and give glory to him; for the hour of his
judgment is come: and worship him that
made heaven, and earth, and the sea,
and the fountains of waters.
5. 5
Revelation 14: 6 -12
• (8) And there followed another angel,
saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that
great city, because she made all nations
drink of the wine of the wrath of her
fornication.
• (9) And the third angel followed them,
saying with a loud voice, If any man
worship the beast and his image, and
receive his mark in his forehead, or in his
hand,
6. 6
Revelation 14: 6 -12
• (10) The same shall drink of the wine of the
wrath of God, which is poured out without
mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he
shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in
the presence of the holy angels, and in the
presence of the Lamb:
• (11) And the smoke of their torment ascendeth
up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day
nor night, who worship the beast and his
image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his
name.
• (12) Here is the patience of the saints: here are
they that keep the commandments of God, and
the faith of Jesus.
7. 7
Revelation 18: 1 -4
• (1) And after these things I saw another
angel come down from heaven, having
great power; and the earth was lightened
with his glory.
• (2) And he cried mightily with a strong
voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen,
is fallen, and is become the habitation of
devils, and the hold of every foul spirit,
and a cage of every unclean and hateful
bird.
8. 8
Revelation 18: 1 -4
• (3) For all nations have drunk of the
wine of the wrath of her fornication, and
the kings of the earth have committed
fornication with her, and the merchants
of the earth are waxed rich through the
abundance of her delicacies.
• (4) And I heard another voice from
heaven, saying, Come out of her, my
people, that ye be not partakers of her
sins, and that ye receive not of her
plagues.
9. 9
What do the Remnant people do?
• This remnant announces the
arrival of the judgment hour,
proclaims salvation through Christ,
and heralds the approach of His
second advent.
10. 10
2Co 5:10 KJV
• (10) For we must all appear before
the judgment seat of Christ; that
every one may receive the things
done in his body, according to that
he hath done, whether it be good or
bad.
11. 11
Jud 1:3 KJV
• (3) Beloved, when I gave all
diligence to write unto you of the
common salvation, it was needful
for me to write unto you, and
exhort you that ye should earnestly
contend for the faith which was
once delivered unto the saints.
12. 12
Jud 1:14 KJV
• (14) And Enoch also, the seventh
from Adam, prophesied of these,
saying, Behold, the Lord cometh
with ten thousands of his saints,
13. 13
1Pe 1:16-19 KJV
• (16) Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am
holy.
• (17) And if ye call on the Father, who without
respect of persons judgeth according to every
man's work, pass the time of your sojourning
here in fear:
• (18) Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not
redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and
gold, from your vain conversation received by
tradition from your fathers;
• (19) But with the precious blood of Christ, as of
a lamb without blemish and without spot:
14. 14
What is the proclamation?
• This proclamation (the arrival of
the judgment hour, proclaims
salvation through Christ, and
heralds the approach of His second
advent) is symbolized by the three
angels of Revelation 14; it coincides
with the work of judgment in
heaven and results in a work of
repentance and reform on earth.
15. 15
Rev. 21:1-5
• (1) And I saw a new heaven and a new earth:
for the first heaven and the first earth were
passed away; and there was no more sea.
• (2) And I John saw the holy city, new
Jerusalem, coming down from God out of
heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her
husband.
• (3) And I heard a great voice out of heaven
saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with
men, and he will dwell with them, and they
shall be his people, and God himself shall be
with them, and be their God.
16. 16
Rev. 21:1-5
• (4) And God shall wipe away all tears
from their eyes; and there shall be no
more death, neither sorrow, nor crying,
neither shall there be any more pain: for
the former things are passed away.
• (5) And he that sat upon the throne
said, Behold, I make all things new. And
he said unto me, Write: for these words
are true and faithful.
17. 17
Rev 21:6-10 KJV
• (6) And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha
and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will
give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of
the water of life freely.
• (7) He that overcometh shall inherit all things;
and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
• (8) But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the
abominable, and murderers, and
whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters,
and all liars, shall have their part in the lake
which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is
the second death.
18. 18
Rev 21:6-10 KJV
• (9) And there came unto me one of the
seven angels which had the seven vials
full of the seven last plagues, and talked
with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew
thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.
• (10) And he carried me away in the spirit
to a great and high mountain, and
shewed me that great city, the holy
Jerusalem, descending out of heaven
from God,

light was like unto a stone most
precious, even like a jasper stone, clear
as crystal;

had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve
angels, and names written thereon,
which are the names of the twelve tribes
of the children of Israel:

north three gates; on the south
three gates; and on the west three
gates.

twelve foundations, and in them
the names of the twelve apostles of
the Lamb.
