This study explores the association of predisposing and enabling factors on the nutritional status of secondary school children in Tangail, Bangladesh, revealing that 42.5% were underweight, with poorer knowledge of health and nutrition observed among underweight children. Key factors influencing nutritional status included socioeconomic status, parental education, and family income, with a significant correlation found between these variables and children’s malnutrition. The authors suggest improvements in health education and school meal provisions to address malnutrition in vulnerable populations.
