In 2014 Play Works Studio received funding from the National Science Foundation to advance the design of a Robot Game for girls, and to conduct a psychological study of the game in collaboration with the University of Washington’s Institute for Learning and Brain Sciences. The results of the study were encouraging: playing with the Robot Game increased girls’ efficacy and motivation in STEM. Girls who played the Robot Game reported equal motivation to boys in terms of how fun programming is, how fun robots are, and how good they perceived themselves to be with robots. In the US not enough women choose careers in STEM fields, with computer science and engineering attracting the smallest percentages: 20% female undergraduates (NSF, 2012). Interventions such as programs, games, and toys that interest girls can provide early and positive experiences with STEM concepts and help level the playing field in STEM disciplines.
As the STEM field continues to grow, more trained professionals are needed to work in areas of science, technology, engineering, and math. There are only a limited number of students, however, who are interested in studying such topics. Strengths Assessment
My strongest trait that I can bring to any business is my ability to collaborate. I
actively search for touchstones with the people within my working sphere
despite traditional differences that might separate collaborators working
toward a common goal. This will allow me to succeed in what I believe has
become an increasingly team-based business model. I communicate clearly
and as shown through my work as chairwoman of the University of
Colorado’s student government Public Relations department I am selfmotivated,
responsible, and I am a leader who consciously forges strong
relationships with a wide variety of people. I am equally at home speaking at
conferences, classes, seminars or before government legislatures.
Secondly I have a practiced creativity. I am innately a creative person but I
believe that, like a second language, without practicing my creativity I will not
be able to keep current with my contemporaries or expand my own vision. I
routinely produce and show my artwork in galleries in Denver and I am an
active performing artist. As the owner of a small digital design business I
innovate, explore, and use all the tools available to me - in many cases this
includes traditional forms and methods of art. I am well versed in the
sculpture of wood, metals and mixed media as well as traditional handdeveloped
photographic processes. I delight in rendering illustration in a wide
variety of mediums including conte, charcoal, watercolor and pencil.
Finally I am strong in technical skills across a wide range of software
programs. These include print design applications such as Microsoft Office
(Word, Power Point, Excel), Adobe InDesign, Open Office and Adobe
Acrobat, and other graphic applications in the Adobe Suite (Photoshop,
Illustrator). I also know the digital design and movie making applications in the
Adobe Suite CS5; AfterEffects, DVD Studio Pro, iDVD, Bridge, Quicktime,
RealPlayer, DVD Player ,Final Cut Pro, and iMovie. I can edit and create in
sound applications such as Soundtrack Pro and GarageBand and can
program websites using Wordpress, iWeb, FlashCS4 (and ActionScript),
FrontPage, HTML4, and CSS.

Concept | MYTHOLOGY
THÁNATOS - (Greek θάνατος, “Death”), was the daemon personification of death,
son of Nyx (Nύξ, “Night”) and twin of Hypnos (Ὕπνος, “Sleep”).
Thanatos has been portrayed as a winged infant ripping the spirit from the body of the dead, or as
adult, always winged, with a sword sheathed at his belt and black dressed. He is also occasionally
specified as being exclusive to peaceful Death, while the bloodthirsty Keres embodied violent Death.

creature associated, since ancient times, with the soul, the body that turns to be reborn to
everlasting life.
The letter associated with Thanatos is Θ (Theta), initial of his name, eighth letter of the greek alphabet.

CHALLENGE:
They needed a platform dedicated to the 2016/2017 season that would temporarily replaced the
corporate website, in order to inform about the protagonists and shows but, above all, to increase
the number of subscribers.
STRATEGY:
We have created a site with a very wide target users, that is why a simple and clear structure
accessible to all was used, teatroeliseo.com is thought to communicate and convey content in a
coherent and an integrated way.

The first Roman school of improvisational theater was founded in 2002.
Since 2009 also it integrates courses of theater on text.
The teachers are all qualified and certified. Some of them are part of the QFC Theatre Company,
which has the merit of having created a network of artistic and cultural interchange in central Italy.
The teaching methods are certified SNIT (National School of Improvisational Theater). Verbavolant
is part of the Improteatro circuit (National Association of improvisational theater).
The teaching courses are aimed at individuals and companies. In addition to the three-year courses
organizes workshops and events.

CHALLENGE:
They needed a new image, more solid and professional than the last one. The image of the school,
for those who had never come into contact with it, appeared chaotic and disorganized.
STRATEGY:
The clear and direct lettering was meant to underscore the professional attitude in teaching.
We imagined Verbavolant with a modern and active image, that could fit both for potential
new students and for companies, but also for improvisation professionals who want to work on
themselves. We wanted to transmit the organization and the passion that lead to success. We have
developed the format to be used to prioritize social content and improve usability by users on the
network.

Three partners linked by a common passion for golf at the end of 2014 between a race
and the other began to think about becoming entrepreneurs of this "passion".

DEM first of all had to communicate the experience,

the informations, so as to simplify and improve the customer experience for the final users.
