CREATIVE THINKING
The way we approach problems determines the success of the solution. This is
how applying techniques and creative processes I define with the client what is
the real problem to solve.
With the success of this method I have been invited to give lectures and
workshops at universities, companies where I show the attendees how to think
differently and above all how to solve the same problem with different solutions.
It is in this premise that underlies the lateral thinking, ie, breaking the patterns
of the way we usually think.
All these processes are applied in the projects I get involved.

Case Study / Emotional Learning
The challenge was to rethink the concept of e-learning that beyond the
didactic component would create a more interesting experience than the
traditional listing of questions and answers.
After several brainstorming sessions and analysing the problem, the end result
was to tell a story. Characters that embodied the life of the subject in question
(public presentation), and that throughout the narrative talked about the matter
to teach. Thus the student had access to learning in a more playful and
interactive way.

The Adegga WineMarket is an event that promotes and sells wine.
With more than 7 years of existence, there was a need to redefine and solidify
the brand and concept.
My role was to re-orient the position and future of the event in the way it is
communicated and perceived. A manifesto was created that defines the bases
of the concept of this repositioning.
A permanent work in progress that enables continuous improvement and
adaptation to new realities.

Design is more than decoration. Design is how it works, how the public
interacts with the project, how to graphically translate the strategy, how to
define visual hierarchies. Good design allows the achievement of the project
goals.
As a conception, User Experience and User Interface are the two points of
focus in my work as a designer. Always with the end user in mind, I try to
translate with Design what the brand is and how it should communicate.

PHC Software approached me to help with a face-lift of the new enterprise
management platform, the PHC CS Digital.
Using the processes described before, the actual needs of the project were set
and we went through a completely reconstruction of the website in terms of
design and interactions.
With this assumption, the goal was to make technology more human using a
more personal and direct communication, such as motivational messages
depending on the time of day.

This is how applying techniques and creative processes I define with the client what is the real problem to solve. With the success of this method I have been invited to give lectures and workshops at universities, companies where I show the attendees how to think differently and above all how to solve the same problem with different solutions. It is in this premise that underlies the lateral thinking, ie, breaking the patterns of the way we usually think. All these processes are applied in the projects I get involved.

  • 7. imhugo.com Case Study / Emotional Learning The challenge was to rethink the concept of e-learning that beyond the didactic component would create a more interesting experience than the traditional listing of questions and answers. After several brainstorming sessions and analysing the problem, the end result was to tell a story. Characters that embodied the life of the subject in question (public presentation), and that throughout the narrative talked about the matter to teach. Thus the student had access to learning in a more playful and interactive way.

With more than 7 years of existence, there was a need to redefine and solidify the brand and concept. My role was to re-orient the position and future of the event in the way it is communicated and perceived. A manifesto was created that defines the bases of the concept of this repositioning. A permanent work in progress that enables continuous improvement and adaptation to new realities.

Good design allows the achievement of the project goals. As a conception, User Experience and User Interface are the two points of focus in my work as a designer. Always with the end user in mind, I try to translate with Design what the brand is and how it should communicate.

  • 19. imhugo.com Case Study / PHC Digital CS PHC Software approached me to help with a face-lift of the new enterprise management platform, the PHC CS Digital. Using the processes described before, the actual needs of the project were set and we went through a completely reconstruction of the website in terms of design and interactions. With this assumption, the goal was to make technology more human using a more personal and direct communication, such as motivational messages depending on the time of day.
