This document discusses the 2008-2009 Texas Campus STaR data for Cactus Ranch Elementary. It summarizes the school's scores in the four components of the STaR Chart: Teaching and Learning, Educator Preparation and Development, Leadership/Administration/Instructional Support, and Infrastructure for Technology. While scores have increased each year since 2006-2007, Educator Preparation remains an area of weakness. The school aims to increase all low scores and continue improving technology integration.

3. What is Texas Campus STaR?
 It is an online school and technology readiness tool to aid for
planning and self assessing to align technology with the
Long-Range Plan for Technology 2006-2020.
 It assists in the measurement of the impact of state and local
efforts to improve student learning through the use of
technology as specified in No Child Left Behind.
 It also identifies needs for on-going professional
development and raises awareness of research-based
instructional goals.
