2. Sample survey consist of about 100 high school students, divided
into groups by:
• sex (FEMALE and MALE)
• age (UNDER 18 and OVER 18)
Questionnaire consisted of 15 questions about European
Union, gathered into different categories:
1. BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF EU
2. EUROPEAN LEGISLATIVE BODY
3. EUROPEAN CULTURE
4. EUROPEAN ELECTIONS

Among the group UNDER 18, we see that
males have lower knowledge of EU (42% of
correct answers) while females has higher
knowledge (58% of correct answers)
Among the group OVER 18, males and
females has similar knowledge about EU
(males 47% of correct; females 53%)

EUROPEAN ELECTIONS
Last group of question had the aim to understand the extent of
information about European Elections in Italy; in their opinion,
interviewed had adequate information about lists, parties and candidates
in European elections.
THE RESULTS REVEAL SHORTAGE OF INFORMATION ABOUT LISTS
AND PARTIES IN EUROPEAN ELECTIONS. THIS INADEQUACY
CONCERNS ALSO THE DATE OF ELECTIONS, ABOUT WHICH BOTH
MALES AND FEMALES, UNDER AND OVER 18 HAVE LITTLE
INFORMATIONS
