life, I do not believe that Facebook has changed the upper limits of friendship previously set by nature
but rather serves as a supplement for real world friendships and a breeding ground for digital

services for all its community members. The services range from tutoring services, weekend school
for Islamic studies, funeral services, Friday congregational prayers, family and marriage counseling,
youth sports, and general community services. BODC is a relatively new organization; however, they
stem from Tawfiq Islamic Center in North Minneapolis. Tawfiq Islamic Center (TIC) has been open to
the community since 2004 and is still open. TIC and BODC share a similar community member base

the wickedness of mankind heart verse the obnoxious disaster the people in the story of Gilgamesh
had created, which nevertheless lead to the floods. Not knowing what the outcome would lead to, the
enthusiastic men who are a major part of the stories went for this long journey. It is also shown the

I find myself disagreeing with the above statement. It is clear to me that within the epic poem Beowulf
, the narrative is mostly dominated by poems male characters. Beowulf, Grendel, Hrothgar all have
major roles in the poems narrative, the poem is written from the male perspective and its central
themes of bravery, violence and heroism are associated with the male characters. This would lead one
to agree with the above statement, that the roles of the female characters in beowulf are minor and

Variable Disadvantage
Delusions are beliefs that have no basis in reality. The character refuses to abandon such beliefs even
in the face of evidence to the contrary or at best comes up with rationalizations to explain away any
contradictions.
Prejudice: The belief that a group of people has certain characteristics. While everyone has some
prejudices in some way or another, a delusional person staunchly holds to these beliefs. In some cases,
the person refuses to trust or befriend any member of such a group, regardless of the merits of the
individual person. Such a Delusion is worth 1 to 3 points, depending on how intense the belief is, how
large a group it applies to, and how it dominates the character s life. At the 1 point level, the character
could be an Archie Bunker type bigot; at 3 points, he would be a rabid Human/Faunus supremacist.
Delusions of Grandeur: This person thinks they are somebody far greater and more powerful than they
really are. The most common type has an exaggerated sense of overconfidence: I am a genius, but
nobody understands me which is why the best job I ve held is the cashier at a 7 11 (1 point); I am the
Messiah; prepare for the Second Coming! (3 points).
Phobia: This Disadvantage is worth 1 to 3 points depending on the severity. 1 point represents a mild
discomfort while 3 points represent an intense fear, maybe even to the point of anxiety.
Emotional Problems
Variable Disadvantage
Those with Emotional Problems react in unreasonable ways to some situations. The reaction can be
anger, sadness or anguish, typically more extreme than normal. These emotional problems can be
triggered by distressful but relatively ordinary events in normal life; they prompt a very strong
reaction.
Fear of Rejection: This person is afraid of rejection. People with this problem may be afraid to make
friends or approach people they are attracted to. If their fears come true they will harbor a great deal of
resentment. This is a 1 point Disadvantage.
Depression: This character s emotional problems make the very act of living seem like a hard chore.
Common symptoms of Depression include sleep problems, severe procrastination, and a lack of
