2. Professional Development Action Plan In preparing for professional development for technology improvement, I used four different data sources, STaR Chart, Ennis High School Campus Improvement Plan, Ennis ISD Technology Plan, and Vision 20/20 Plan. Ennis High School has done a good job on the STaR chart the past several years; we have reached Advanced Tech in all areas. However, I still feel that the need for technology professional development is there. As I addressed in my week 3 report, I feel that the age gap in our teachers is what will keep us from reaching Target Tech on the STaR Chart. The older generation teachers take longer to understand and integrate new technology than the younger teachers. Our campus and district plans both clearly outline that we are to be technology improving our students’ achievement. That is the reason I am suggesting the following professional development session.
