Charles used a range of technologies including Photoshop, Befunky, Fontspace, and a digital camera to create a magazine. Befunky was used primarily to edit photographs and add conventional effects. Photoshop allowed Charles to compile photos and text into the magazine format while maintaining layers. Fontspace provided a large library of fonts to find ones suited to the magazine's genre. The digital camera captured high quality photos of models in outdoor settings for an indie magazine style.
