This document summarizes the use of photo shop and final cut pro software for an ancillary project. For photo shop, the individual blurred the background of an image to make text more visible, added a shadow to the text to make it stand out, and used photo shop's text tool to add album details. For final cut pro, the individual put video clips on a timeline, marked cuts every four seconds, and used edits like fades and cuts while adding a song.
2. USING PHOTO SHOP
• For my ancillary work I have used photo shop to construct it. I didn’t have to do much
because the image was in it self good but I had to blur the background in order to be able
to see the font. After this I was then able to use the text book put my text on. However I
decided that it will be a good idea to put a shadow on the font to make the font to stand
out. Photo shop was used because you are able to make an image seem flawless and it
enables you to put text other images need to construct work.

3. USE OF FINAL CUT PRO
Final cut pro is non liner software designed to edit videos. It’s features are magnetic timeline,
multicam, compound clips, merged clips and data base engine. For our video we had to look
at the clips we wanted put them on time line. Using ‘In’ and ‘out’ and once we had that in
place. We then had to count every four second and put a marker on to remind us of where to
cut. After this we used edits such as fades and various of cuts. And off course deleting our
sound and putting the emile sande song on.
