as they can’t sort and differentiate the
garbage.
• Cleaners collect the waste from one place and
dump them in another, which is not a solution.
• Specially when it is dumped in the ocean, the
marine life also gets involved & according to
the data, it plays a vital role in climate change
and harms ecosystem.

• The soft Teflon hand will use the Tactile
Sensor that measures the size of an object
and the pressure to grasp it.
• From that it can be determined if the waste
material is made of plastic, paper or metal.
And the conductivity test will also be done to
be sure about metals.
• Finally it establishes a motion path that keeps
the waste materials in different places.

The bots go there and vacuum anything on
ground inside and then sort into three
compartments.
Release them in a landfill or in respective
areas.
Put the bots in a transporting vehicle. Vehicle collects the bots and then goes to the
central recycling unit.

11. WHAT HAPPENS IN THE CRU 11
We recycle the plastic to aesthetic bins to be
distributed and different types of toys and objects to
be sold.
We recycle the paper for more paper items, specially
to print out leaflets about the bots and make people
know about this and buy this for their regions.
We will sell the metals to a metal recycling company
as its costly to recycle and will use the money in
making more bots.
