Tata Management Training Center
• Awarded with the Golden Peacock National Training
Award for 2007-08 in the field of Training & Development.
• Mission-Creating and grooming leaders for the future
• It aims to provide training to high performers within the group
and act as a catalyst of change for Tata executives.
TMTC Objectives Include
Improvement of organisational performance through dissemination
of the latest knowledge and skills among practicing managers.
Facilitation of attitudinal and behavioural changes.
Facilitation of solutions for organisational issues.
Development of learning organisations.
Training methodology.
• Tata Chemical has a unique programme, Aspire Knowledge
Manthan, which facilitates knowledge sharing among supervisors
and workers. Its objective is to motivate workers to perform better
and to enhance their capabilities.
• Another Tata company, TCS, has a job rotation policy that exposes
its employees to new responsibilities, functions or geographies on a
regular basis.
• An online learning portal, where fresher's can do some of the
coursework while they are waiting to join the company.
