Daedalus worked for King Minos and Queen Pasiphae in Crete, where Minos imprisoned him and his son in the dangerous Labyrinth maze as punishment for helping Pasiphae mate with a bull and give birth to the Minotaur. While imprisoned, Daedalus built wings for himself and Icarus to escape from the Labyrinth by flying over the sea. However, Icarus ignored his father's warning not to fly too close to the sun or sea. Icarus's wings melted from the heat of the sun and he fell into the sea that was named after him. After escaping Crete, Daedalus found refuge in Sicily at the court of King

This prison is the

the Labyrinth. This place is
where King Minos sent Daedalus

They also build wings here for them
to escape completely.
Daedalus warned
his son Icarus to not fly too
close to the sun because it
would melt the wax in the
wings and also not to close to the
sea because it would be hard
to fly but Icarus did not ignored
his father’s advice that’s why
he fell to the sea that is
named after him.
Sicily is the place
where Daedalus stayed at
the court of Cocalus in a place
called Carnicus. But
vengeful King Minos wasn’t quite
done and he tries to bring Daedalus
back in his harmful hands but
King Cocalus’ daughthers
killed him and Daedalus
ended up in Sardinia.
