TEMA DEL TALLER: PRESENT SIMPLE AND PRESENT CONTINUOUS.
Estimado aprendiz, el presente taller le brinda un espacio donde usted:
Realizará una práctica oral y escrita sobre los tiempos gramaticales presente simple y continuo
en un contexto dado.

ACTIVIDAD DE APRENDIZAJE:
Identificar tiempos y elementos gramaticales en la oración y comprender la idea principal y el
mensaje en diferentes textos.
Aplicar el tiempo presente, pasado y el modal Can/can't en las diferentes formas gramaticales
para comprender textos escritos en inglés.

Actividad de escucha, guion de práctica.
Dinámicas de grupo sobre presentación personal.
Ejercicios de afianzamiento de acuerdo a la gramática inglesa trabajada.
Actividad de profundización mediante videos.

The Present Continuous is used for actions that are happening around the present time. For
example, "I am studying English" means that I am in the process of studying English now. The
Present Continuous is formed by adding the verb "to be" and the -ing form

ACTIVITY 4: MODAL CAN / CAN’T
Para expresar las habilidades, permisos, petición o posibilidad en inglés utilizamos el modal Can
(affirmative) and can´t, cannot or can not) to express the sentence in negative form.
Analice el concepto y los siguientes ejemplos:
"Can" is one of the most commonly used modal verbs in English. It can be used to express ability or
opportunity, to request or offer permission, and to show possibility or impossibility.
Examples:
• I can ride a horse. ABILITY
