FOR WHAT LEARNING?   Objective:  Demonstrate the structure and the use of the continuous present tense in the sentence structures for the communication in real time with coherence.
WHAT LEARNING?   Contents:  He should have a previous knowledge in order to initiate this theme of: - Personal pronouns - Verb to be  - Present tense  - Basic vocabulary
WHEN TO LEARN?   Sequence:  Students have to learn this topic after having seen the verb To Be and the present tense. Once it was given, we will relate the two tenses, since the continuous present tense is the fusion of these two.
HOW TO LEARN?   Methodology:  The methodology to be in use will be the combination of techniques like:   V.A.K. (visual, auditive and kenestésico)
V.A.K. visual, auditive, kenestesic Where the student is able to develop the visual, auditive and manual skills (Sensations). It is at present a well-thumbed methodology in the whole educational space. Sensations constitute the most efficacious form to learn.

We will take in account the development of moral values in the students in the course of teaching. The moral values to evaluate are:   * Respect * Collaboration * Good disposition * Responsibility * Brotherhood * Participation * Collaboration * Arriving on time * Attendance
INTRODUCTION: Hi there! I'm The Present Continuous Guy. I'm here to tell you what I' m doing  at the moment because my life  is changing  a lot these days.   Now  I 'm not studying , but I' m working  in a Body Piercing Tattoo shop.   I like tattoos. At the moment I' m wearing  nine tattoos and ten piercings.  At present  I' m playing  the guitar in a heavy metal group called "Metal Bananas". This evening I'  m playing  with some friends in Marbella in a birthday party.   I'  m going out  with a girl, but she' s working  in the disco today. She  isn't coming  with me to the party.  Are  you  coming  with me guys?
The Present Continuous or present progressive tense Structure:  S + verb to be (AM/IS/ARE) + -ing form of a verb+ Complement.  Use:  To describe actions that are happening at the moment  (NOW).
THE POSITIVE FORM OF THE PRESENT CONTINUOUS.
Common mistakes: - Students forget to use the verb to be a)  My father working (INCORRECT)  My father IS working. (Correct)   - Sometimes students do not use the -ing form. b)  Robert is play with me. (INCORRECT)  Robert is playING with me. (CORRECT)
THE NEGATIVE FORM OF THE PRESENT CONTINUOUS
Common mistakes: -Some students place the negative first. REMEMBER TO USE THE S+V+C !!! a)  Not working my father (INCORRECT)  My father isn’t (is + not) working (CORR.) - Students use the don’t/doesn’t to do the negative: b)  She doesn’t playing (INCORRECT) She isn’t playing (CORRECT)
THE QUESTION FORM OF THE PRESENT CONTINUOUS
Common mistakes: - Students do not change the order of the verb to be with the subject: a)  He is working? (INCORRECT)  Is he working? (CORRECT)   - Students use do or does in questions: b)  Do you studying? (INCORRECT) Are you studying? (CORRECT)
1. TRANSCRIBE THESE SENTENCES IN PROGRESSIVE FORM.   I am reading. 1.  Yo estoy leyendo You are not reading. 2.  Tú no estás leyendo Is he reading? 3.  ¿Está él leyendo? My cat is playing. 4.  Mi gato está jugando They are not playing 5.  Ellos no están jugando  
  2. PUT AN (X) IN THE RIGHT SENTENCE IN PROGRESSIVE TENSE.   ___Luis is siting alone near the window. _x_ Luis is sitting alone near the window.   ___Is your brother play in the same team? _x_ Is your brother playing in the same team?
3. USING THE PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE, FILL IN THE BLANKS WITH THE CORRECT FORMS OF THE VERBS SHOWN IN BRACKETS.  1. I  am answering   the questions. (to answer) 2. You  are wearing  boots. 3. COMPLETE WITH THE VERB IN PARENTHESIS USING “ING” FORM 1. They anticipate (receive) ___________ several applications for the job.  2.   • 7. FOR WHAT LEARNING?   Objective: Demonstrate the structure and the use of the continuous present tense in the sentence structures for the communication in real time with coherence.
  • 8. WHAT LEARNING?   Contents: He should have a previous knowledge in order to initiate this theme of: - Personal pronouns - Verb to be - Present tense - Basic vocabulary
  • 9. WHEN TO LEARN?   Sequence: Students have to learn this topic after having seen the verb To Be and the present tense. Once it was given, we will relate the two tenses, since the continuous present tense is the fusion of these two.
  • 10. HOW TO LEARN?   Methodology: The methodology to be in use will be the combination of techniques like:   V.A.K. (visual, auditive and kenestésico)
