This document provides suggestions for encouraging synchronous communication between students using tools in Twinspace and eTwinning Live events. It recommends using live events for students to introduce themselves at the start of projects, reflect on activities, and share cultural traditions. It also suggests organizing chat events around planned topics and discussions. Additionally, it advises establishing netiquette rules to promote respectful communication.

 At the beginning of the project: pupils can introduce
them selves, share hobbies and interests
 At the end of specific activities: pupils can reflect on
activities/ share their thoughts/ evaluate/ give
feedback
 Occasionally before important cultural feasts: pupils
can share songs, wishes, for Christmas, Easter,
Summer holidays.

 At the beginning of the project: prepare pupils with
questions to ask, topics to be discussed
 At the end of specific activities: prepare collaborative
activities to be done (quizzes, games, drawings)
 Occasionally before important cultural feasts: prepare
pupils to share their cultural heritage

Organize a chat event using the project’s Twinspace

 Encourage pupils to participate in a chat event: pupils can use
the chatroom in a real time, even without planning the event
 Organize a chat event: pupils can enter the chatroom to
participate in a discussion on a specific topic with different
teachers
 Download the chat history: pupils can see their chat history
