This document provides information about an online course on Food and Nutrition Security that will take place from May 23rd to June 24th 2016. It is organized by several Dutch organizations. The 5-week course will cover topics like the policy context of food security, eradicating hunger and malnutrition, ecological sustainable food systems, and inclusive growth in agriculture. There are two learning tracks - a certified track requiring 4 hours/week and assignments, and a free track requiring 1-2 hours/week. The course will include videos, articles, blogs, quizzes and 4 interactive webinars. Experts in the field will be involved and participants can receive guidance. To receive a certificate, participants must complete all

1. Certified learning track: 4 hours per week
time investment. Requirements for certification:
– participated in 3 webinars;
– reached the gate of week 4;
– Submitted practical case assignment.
50 places available.
2. Free learning track: 1-2 hours per week time
investment.
– Participate in activities of interest to you.
– No case work. No certificate.
– Flexibility to follow topics of highest interest
to you.
