A large internet services provider who was experiencing rapid growth of their IT infrastructure had twin challenges. They needed to support IT without growing their IT staff, while also increasing the time spent on enhancing and improving services rather than “keep the lights on” activities. This is a condensed version of the analysis Evergreen Systems (www.evergreensys.com) performed to develop a roadmap and ROI to achieve their objectives.

Migrating Into the Cloud: The Brownfield vs. Greenfield OpportunityJulia Smith
The IT world is a complex space and companies may not have the money to completely replace all of their systems. Therefore we need solutions to optimize what we already have. This white paper examines the differences between Greenfield and Brownfield environments – particularly as it pertains to cloud migrations.
Utilizing Dashboards to improve efficiencyThomas Bronack
The dashboard I create provides control over the Infrastructure, Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Production Operations, Recovery Management, and Compliance by providing a front-end to current accurate information associated with Planning and Activation processes. It can be used from any location and at anytime. You can drill down to the actual task being performed and it will provide you with the contact information of the person performing the task so you can provide leadership or get updated status.
This presentation is designed to illustrate how you can better improve personnel productivity through training, work flow management, and reporting, which will allow management to proactively address performance flaws and employee needs.
Have you begun to see the value of Enterprise Data Management? If so, perhaps you’ve decided that simply buying more hardware is no longer a viable option for your IT department. Despite the ever-falling cost of hardware, each new machine you add will increase your labor, power, and cooling costs over time.
