Definition
 Subject: It is the person, animals or thing
that the sentence is about or the person,
animals or thing that does the action.
 Predicate: It adds more information about
the subjects. It contains the verb.
Examples
1. Honesty is the best policy.
2. India is the land of many rivers.
3. A lioness does not have mane
Honesty, India and a lioness are subject
is the best policy, is the land of many rivers
and does not have mane….. are predicate
