Modern Public School in Shalimar Bagh, India visited Chase Town Community School in Staffordshire, UK as part of an exchange programme between the schools. Two teachers from Modern Public School learned about the UK's educational system, history, art and culture, and social structure. They observed classroom activities and had discussions with Chase Town's principal and staff about the education systems in both countries. The visit helped familiarize the Indian teachers with the UK education system and was an unforgettable experience that strengthened cultural ties between the two nations.

There is no avoiding it: the library landscape has been changing. We are dealing with slashed budgets and insufficient staffing while attempting to meet an increased need for innovative library programming. As librarians from small libraries, we may be reluctant to shake things up with new ideas because of the high price of failure. So how do we stay relevant in the 21st century? This presentation is a how-to guide for utilizing local resources, establishing valuable community partnerships, and decreasing costs while increasing participation in fresh, fearless, and affordable library programming.

Uk delegation.... friendship sans borders
Delegates from a community school in the United Kingdom visited an Indian school for seven days to celebrate internationalism and cultural exchange. The Indian school hosted presentations on their traditions and culture. The UK delegates toured the school facilities and asked questions to learn about India's education system. They also visited places in and around Delhi like Jaipur to experience Indian culture and history. Students from both schools had an open discussion to learn about each other's political, economic, social and education systems in a mutually beneficial experience.
Email exchange programme
Modern Public School has established an exchange programme with Modbury High School in Adelaide, Australia to provide students an international experience and exposure to different cultures. The programme allowed students learning German to learn about the education systems and art and culture of both countries by working on email-based projects. The cultural exposure helped students become confident and sensitive to cultural diversity.

Ahimsa - The only way for World Peace

Manglani were provided with various opportunities to learn about the Educational System, History and Heritage, Art and Culture and Social Structure of U.K. There was a detailed discussion with the school Principal, Ms. Linda James and other staff members on the respective education systems in both the countries. The teachers observed the classroom activities which familiarized them with the education system of UK and their teaching learning methodologies. The visit was an unforgettable experience for them indeed took a step ahead towards globalization, strengthening the cultural ties between the two nations.
