A friend of mine, also told me that for Her, drawing is a form of self Expression – that in here you can draw your feelings of anger, distress, sadness and etc. you can make images that will portray to what you feel. And she gets the benefit of relieving stress you pour out all anger and other emotions through putting them on paper or computer. That’s why she told me that her life is somehow balance and in good shape for she knows what to do when she gets a little stressed on things.
Question: does anyone here draw whenever you get bored? Or when you hate someone? Or whenever you get inspired? Or just to have fun and relax?
The things that urges you to bring out anger or stressful feelings . Or some hidden emotion that you just cant express.
If you feel happy what do you do? Angry? - By just the mere fact of expressing yourself by means of drawing you brought out something that is in you. By this, you can realize that this is what you feel to this kind of thing or event if ever it happens to you again.
Draw scenarios in action or use symbolic representation to identify the sources of your stress . Make sure you release all the feelings of stress or disturbing emotion in the drawing. Sketch pictures that describe your feelings related to things in your life that are causing you stress currently. If it’s in the back of your mind anyway, this could be a way of processing your related emotions, reducing some of the stress they carry
Scribble all over it , or tear the page into tiny pieces . Use your hands, not objects, to tear it so you get the relieving physical feeling.
Just the act of throwing it into the bin can be incredibly therapeutic. If that is not enough, burn the paper and watch it turn to dust just like your problems going away.
This can be anything; a picture of a place which makes you feel calm , To take away the stress that you are feeling. You must calm yourself and Search for something you like drawing like Anime characters, Cartoon Chracters like Mickey Mouse, or Marvel Heroes It is up to you to draw something that you think that will please you after you do it.
Find a place where it is quiet , a place that you think will make you feel productive in doing something . Because if you don’t do this you might end up just making your day worse instead of relieving yourself from stress and pressure from School works and other activities.
This is your time , remove as many distractions as possible. Lose yourself in the painting, enjoy yourself! This is for you so don't let anything ruin your day .
By just drawing, not only that you express what you feel but you also know yourself a little better . By just drawing you created a story , you achieved some sort of happiness what you drew really stated what you feel. Releasing stress and enjoying doing it is a fine practice instead of you putting angry words to others you just draw it and you realize that this is how much anger you felt. For me I draw whenever I feel that the whole day was so much stressful because of school works, so to balance it and release some of it I draw. Specifically DC comic heroes from my comic book and sometimes I draw manga. After it not only that my stress has been lifted but also I gained happiness whenever my work turns out to be something nice!
