The word stress is often associated with a
negative thing. It is often used to describe
the feeling one gets when overloaded with
work or when undergoing a worrisome
event in one’s life.

Stress, however, is not always a bad thing.
Stress is simply the way the body responds to
events or situation that challenge one’s physical
or mental equilibrium. The things, events or
situation that cause the stress are called
stressor.

When you experience positive stress, you feel
alert, focused, excited or challenged to
continue working, do better and succeed.

Toxoplasmosis (tok-so-plaz-MOE-sis) is an
infection with a parasite called Toxoplasma
gondii. People often get the infection from eating
undercooked meat. You can also get it from
contact with cat feces. The parasite can pass to
a baby during pregnancy.
