• For a project to be eligible under
ICIP, it needs to align directly to an
immediate program outcome

Climate Risk Approach
• The Climate Change Risk Sharing Mechanism
has been designed to incentivize Project Co. to:
• Design resilient infrastructure to allow for short to
medium term weather fluctuations as well as
projected long term Climate Change;
• Proactively manage and mitigate impacts to the
Tłı̨chǫ ASR, even when actual Climate Change is
trending higher than projected
• Temperature, Precipitation and Precipitation as
Rain percentage metrics chosen as indicators
for climate change
