The document discusses effective storytelling techniques for product managers. It provides 10 tips for telling compelling stories about products and services, including being yourself, using storyboards to structure the narrative, engaging the audience through humor and personal anecdotes, showing prototypes and data to support the story, and avoiding overly rehearsed presentations. The document also includes an example scenario where the product manager needs to pitch a company's new mobile app to clients, and prompts brainstorming how to structure a two-minute elevator pitch using the storytelling tips.
Inspired Storytelling: Engaging People & Moving Them To ActionKelsey Ruger
Most projects, presentations or initiatives are driven by facts and features the team believes will help them deliver a product or message. While facts and data are important for setting the stage and communicating goals, they’re rarely what persuades an audience or gets them to take action.
In this workshop, you will learn how to use that connection, by teaching basic skills in visual thinking and storytelling that will that transform projects and initiate action.

Cracking the Product Manager Interview with Gayle McDowellProduct School
In this talk, Gayle McDowell, author of the book "Cracking the PM Interview", taught people how to prepare for Product Manager interviews, what top companies like Google, Amazon, and Microsoft really look for, and how to tackle the toughest problems.
She talked about how the role of a Product Manager varies across companies, what experience you need, how to make your existing experience translate, what a great Product Manager resume and cover letter look like, and finally, how to master the Product Manager interview questions.
Google Analytics Fundamentals: Set Up and Basics for MeasurementOrbit Media Studios
Once you have Google Analytics installed, here are the steps for setting things up and doing basic analysis on your website. This presentation covers:
• Setting up goals
• Adding filters to remove traffic from yourself
• Excluding traffic from bots and spiders
• Setting up "site search" reports
• Annotations and shortcuts
We also jump into the basic report configurations, including secondary dimensions, advanced filters and views. This covers most of what you need to know to start getting value from Google Analytics!
Not just another buzzword…product-led growth is an important go-to-market strategy that underpins some of today’s most successful businesses. Think Dropbox, Slack, Intercom, Expensify and Datadog.
At OpenView, we define product-led growth (PLG) as a strategy that puts the product front and center when it comes to how a company acquires, expands and retains customers. Relying on a product-led strategy yields rapid, extremely efficient growth.
Although similar to a freemium approach, a product-led growth strategy doesn’t actually require that you offer your product for free. It does however necessitate an amazing product and customer experience. In fact, PLG companies make it frictionless for users to start using their products. They deliver value extremely quickly and target users rather than buyers.

Writing for the Internet? You're doing it wrong.space150
You have your content plan. An editorial calendar. A campaign idea. Even a tagline. But how do you actually put those words together in a digital way that helps people grok them? Take a peek into how we tackle it at space150.

Search and Society: Reimagining Information Access for Radical FuturesBhaskar Mitra
The field of Information retrieval (IR) is currently undergoing a transformative shift, at least partly due to the emerging applications of generative AI to information access. In this talk, we will deliberate on the sociotechnical implications of generative AI for information access. We will argue that there is both a critical necessity and an exciting opportunity for the IR community to re-center our research agendas on societal needs while dismantling the artificial separation between the work on fairness, accountability, transparency, and ethics in IR and the rest of IR research. Instead of adopting a reactionary strategy of trying to mitigate potential social harms from emerging technologies, the community should aim to proactively set the research agenda for the kinds of systems we should build inspired by diverse explicitly stated sociotechnical imaginaries. The sociotechnical imaginaries that underpin the design and development of information access technologies needs to be explicitly articulated, and we need to develop theories of change in context of these diverse perspectives. Our guiding future imaginaries must be informed by other academic fields, such as democratic theory and critical theory, and should be co-developed with social science scholars, legal scholars, civil rights and social justice activists, and artists, among others.

"Impact of front-end architecture on development cost", Viktor TurskyiFwdays
I have heard many times that architecture is not important for the front-end. Also, many times I have seen how developers implement features on the front-end just following the standard rules for a framework and think that this is enough to successfully launch the project, and then the project fails. How to prevent this and what approach to choose? I have launched dozens of complex projects and during the talk we will analyze which approaches have worked for me and which have not.
