Storyboard on different shot types

Close up
This is quite a standard shot
that is frequently used
throughoutmedia. Ittends to
capture a certain feature or
part of the subjectthat takes
up the whole frame.
Midshot
This shottype shows some
part of the subjectin more
detail while still giving an
impression of the whole
subject.
Long shot
A long shotis predominantly a
full body shot. Itis essentially a
similar shotto a wide shotas
well. Although, this shot tends
to take up the whole frame
height. As well as showing the
full body of the subject, it also
has a slight focus on the
background.
Mediumclose-upshot
A medium close-up shot is a
combination of a mid shot and
a close-up. This shotincludes
the subjectfromthe middle of
his chestto the top of his
head.
Wide shot
In this shot, the subjecttakes
up the whole frame. There is
also a lot of focus mainly on
the background, a lot like a
long shot.
