Lead overall management and support for concurrent projects delivering multiple products to strategic departments of the
New Zealand Government, such as the Ministry of Social Development and Department of Internal Affairs. Served as a
conduit between clients, management and the project development teams. Applied best practices to ensure the Software
Delivery Life Cycle ran consistently and that risks were efficiently communicated. Worked with executive and senior
management to define and plan new projects and roll out group wide initiatives. Key technical responsibility for project
planning, developing the business case, project initiation and set up, requirements gathering, method development, detailed
design and UATs to full implementation and roll out.

Responsible for the assessment and eligibility of passport applicants to hold and maintain British Passports. Reviewed
information on applications to define eligibility according to nationality laws and governmental policies. Examined
supporting documents, affidavits, and records, to evaluate authenticity of documents. Also responsible for the management
and development of projects to enhance High Commissions services.
▪ Supported the design and development for the British High Commission website, which was subsequently adopted
and is used a template globally for all British High Commissions and Embassies worldwide.
▪ Designed, developed and implemented a tracking system designed to simplify and enhance Trans–Tasman
stakeholder relationships, leading to a significant reduction in errors in passport applications and enhanced service
delivery.
▪ Analysed and maintained all reported project activities emphasising items such as scope variations, slipped tasks,
upcoming tasks and actual hours vs. planned hours.

UK DVLA, UK Oct 2003 to Oct 2008
Enforcement Field Officer
Responsible within the UK Department for Transport, Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency for the South West region with
a key focus on Devon and Somerset for ensuring compliance with DVLA requirements. Actively liaised with members of
the public covering vehicle and driver licensing as well as the enforcement of fines and penalties. Developed key
relationships with partner agencies including HM Customs, Borders and Immigration, Vehicle Operators and Standard
Agency, and all Police forces in the South West of England.
▪ Participated in operational briefings acting on occasion as primary contact for field operations for the DVLA.
▪ Located and tracked suspected offenders to establish culpability for motoring offences. Also supported legal
proceedings by providing expert witness testimony.
▪ Routinely reviewed databases to ensure accuracy of information in support of DVLA programmes and activities.
▪ Undertook extensive investigations in response to Ministerial and public complaints regarding unlicensed vehicles.
