Thomson Reuters (NYSE:TRI) is a major multi-national mass media and information firm founded in
Toronto. Company operates in more than 100 countries and has more than 60,000 employees around the world.
Responsibilities:
• Real Estate and Infrastructure Development
o Handling multi- offices and supporting transitions and teams , spread across South West India
offices.
o Redesigning Thomson Reuters’ Facility with 750 seating capacity in 2012 – headed this project
and delivered it 1 month in advance vis-a-vis the actual project schedule. The highlight of this
project was its completion within 50% of the actual budget that was allocated.
o Re designing included civil and plumbing projects, HVAC, electrical, etc.
o Consolidation of the server rooms and ensuring they are information security and quality complaint.
o The challenge of power fluctuation was mitigated by implementing the strategy of bifurcating the
critical and non-critical electrical load, this ensured consistent user experience.
o Leading capital projects including design and responsibility of managing architects and contractor
selection processes.
o Fresh Air Treatment unit installation project completed for the Noida facility.
o Headed the evaluation of facilities, negotiations, legal documentation and STPI for a brand new
facility in the year 2014-15.
o Planned the construction of the new facility from bare shell to complete fit out and ready-to-
move-in office.
