Radio Network Planning (RNP)- review of clutter plots such as best server, land use, stand alone, composite,
and neighbors, perform Joint Site Survey to expedite site selection that complies the coverage objectives
(Standard, Max, Smart Range) review of design parameters as to its configuration, type of BTS to be used
(Indoor/Outdoor), verification of antenna height and number of dependent sites to determine the type of
tower to be used as per site actual condition (RT,SST,GT), CDD parameter review for site creation (frequency to
be used and neighboring cells), and coordination and monitoring of re-homing implementation to enhance BSC
capacity and utilization.
Transmission Network Planning (TNP) - performs Transmission survey for Path LOS profile and Link Budget
calculation especially for Relay Sites and adheres to the specified or desired Received Signal Level (RSL) using
appropriate microwave antenna size. Review and recommend link up sites based on the path distance,
frequency to be used, E1 capacity, and TRX configuration. Review of mux plans for patching, Check Link for any
errors through Bit Error Ratio (BER) and Distance to Fade (DTF) testing, monitoring of Network Management
System (NMS) SOA for SDH and SOM for minilink E and Traffic Nodes (TN) implementation, monitoring of
Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH) and Plesiochronous Digital Hierarchy (PDH) links Upgrades implementation
to ensure and prevent site outages and with proper decision making as to revert to its original configuration in
case of failure within the allowed window time, and GB link implementation for GPRS.
Project Engineering- review of CW and Telecom Standards, BOQ, BOM, and Technical Site Survey (TSSR), Radio
Survey and Installation Design review and approval, review of Detailed Design Drawings, Power sufficiency
checking, review of structural analysis and Soil Bearing Test Report to determine appropriate foundation design
considerations (standard or special), checking of existing tower loading with regards to its integrity to check and
determine the necessity for Tower elements retrofitting, red line and as built plans checking. Reviews of all civil
and transmission plans, technical specifications, design, etc.
Site Acquisition- for site deliberation sheet reviews based on Radio Network Planning nominal points, assist in
commercial terms negotiation and approval, Contract of Lease reviews, and attend government sessions or
public hearings for permitting acquisition. Coordination and securing of proper permitting and other necessary
documents especially during the start of construction works.
Civil Works- Manages contractor’s activities to ensure compliance with the existing implementing codes of the
Philippines, company standards, and specifications; ensures that the project is completed within the budget
and specified timeline. Monitors proper implementation of MSC, BSC and new sites initializing from SKOM,
Mobilization. Attend concrete and tensile testing, Field Density Testing. Checking of quality and quantity
implementation, variations review, attend PAT, clearing, and FAT. Renders close physical inspection and
implementation of the project with the following works; To verify correct rebar installation, concrete pouring
procedures (monolithic or isolated) and requirements (slump test cone, concrete sample cylinders, curing pond,
no. of bagger mixers, etc.), Site Development including perimeter fence, earthfill and compaction, soil poisoning
and termite control, electrical system and grounding system, facilities such as installation of equipment room,
genset house, and guard house, foundation works and tower erection, electrical works of the project (lighting
accessories, fittings, wiring, conduiting and electrical panels), water proofing works, Storm water drainage
system, Fire Protection system, HVAC system, Fuel room, application of the temporary power connection and
other site documentations. Check materials and workmanship. Monitors and coordinate with the designer on
any deviation or seemed contrary to the plans and specifications as it indicates against any accepted
engineering standards. Prepare purchase requisition slip of needed materials and materials delivery on site.
Coordinate with the supplier regarding requirements of the projects and verifies order as per specification.
Prepare projects schedule, cash flow, bar cutting list, materials take-off and progress accomplishment reports.
Implementation of safety construction program in conformity with the regulatory laws and project guidelines.
Conduct testing and commissioning such as tower vertically test, megger test, cable insulation test, torque test,
and voltage test .Conducts inspection for acceptance with vendor and review on punchlist; monitors
corresponding rectification works. Verifies as-built drawings.
Telecoms/RNO- review of BOQ and BOM prior to delivery, perform proper telecom and quality installation,
Verifies Sector Antenna azimuths and downtilts, TRX upgrades, alarm testing both external and internal, BTS
configuration upgrades, VSWR, drive test and optimization, perform basic inter sectoral antenna handover,
checking of RX signal strength to both indoor and outdoor coverage. Monitors KPI (Key Performance Indicators)
and STATS of newly integrated and On-aired sites, to ensure that Call Drop Rate, Call Set up Success Rate, Hand

Transmission Network Planning (TNP) - performs Transmission survey for Path LOS profile and Link Budget calculation especially for Relay Sites and adheres to the specified or desired Received Signal Level (RSL) using appropriate microwave antenna size. Review and recommend link up sites based on the path distance, frequency to be used, E1 capacity, and TRX configuration. Review of mux plans for patching, Check Link for any errors through Bit Error Ratio (BER) and Distance to Fade (DTF) testing, monitoring of Network Management System (NMS) SOA for SDH and SOM for minilink E and Traffic Nodes (TN) implementation, monitoring of Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH) and Plesiochronous Digital Hierarchy (PDH) links Upgrades implementation to ensure and prevent site outages and with proper decision making as to revert to its original configuration in case of failure within the allowed window time, and GB link implementation for GPRS. Project Engineering- review of CW and Telecom Standards, BOQ, BOM, and Technical Site Survey (TSSR), Radio Survey and Installation Design review and approval, review of Detailed Design Drawings, Power sufficiency checking, review of structural analysis and Soil Bearing Test Report to determine appropriate foundation design considerations (standard or special), checking of existing tower loading with regards to its integrity to check and determine the necessity for Tower elements retrofitting, red line and as built plans checking. Reviews of all civil and transmission plans, technical specifications, design, etc.

    Site Acquisition- forsite deliberation sheet reviews based on Radio Network Planning nominal points, assist in commercial terms negotiation and approval, Contract of Lease reviews, and attend government sessions or public hearings for permitting acquisition. Coordination and securing of proper permitting and other necessary documents especially during the start of construction works. Civil Works- Manages contractor’s activities to ensure compliance with the existing implementing codes of the Philippines, company standards, and specifications; ensures that the project is completed within the budget and specified timeline. Monitors proper implementation of MSC, BSC and new sites initializing from SKOM, Mobilization. Attend concrete and tensile testing, Field Density Testing. Checking of quality and quantity implementation, variations review, attend PAT, clearing, and FAT. Renders close physical inspection and implementation of the project with the following works; To verify correct rebar installation, concrete pouring procedures (monolithic or isolated) and requirements (slump test cone, concrete sample cylinders, curing pond, no. of bagger mixers, etc.), Site Development including perimeter fence, earthfill and compaction, soil poisoning and termite control, electrical system and grounding system, facilities such as installation of equipment room, genset house, and guard house, foundation works and tower erection, electrical works of the project (lighting accessories, fittings, wiring, conduiting and electrical panels), water proofing works, Storm water drainage system, Fire Protection system, HVAC system, Fuel room, application of the temporary power connection and other site documentations. Check materials and workmanship. Monitors and coordinate with the designer on any deviation or seemed contrary to the plans and specifications as it indicates against any accepted engineering standards. Prepare purchase requisition slip of needed materials and materials delivery on site. Coordinate with the supplier regarding requirements of the projects and verifies order as per specification. Prepare projects schedule, cash flow, bar cutting list, materials take-off and progress accomplishment reports. Implementation of safety construction program in conformity with the regulatory laws and project guidelines. Conduct testing and commissioning such as tower vertically test, megger test, cable insulation test, torque test, and voltage test .Conducts inspection for acceptance with vendor and review on punchlist; monitors corresponding rectification works. Verifies as-built drawings. Telecoms/RNO- review of BOQ and BOM prior to delivery, perform proper telecom and quality installation, Verifies Sector Antenna azimuths and downtilts, TRX upgrades, alarm testing both external and internal, BTS configuration upgrades, VSWR, drive test and optimization, perform basic inter sectoral antenna handover, checking of RX signal strength to both indoor and outdoor coverage.
