2. My name is Ryan Stearns, and I am from
Smyrna, Tennessee. I came to Full Sail to
pursue my dream in Sportscasting. I have had
lots of experience throughout high school in front
of, and behind the camera. I believe that I was
brought here because of a childhood dream that
has become much more than that now. I think
that the best way to describe me is that I am
hard-working, studious, and ready to get to work.

• I want to get an internship with either a major sports
network or with a company back home in Tennessee.
‣ My KPI for my short term goal will be to get at
least 15 connections I can gather over a year
timespan. I will gather them from LinkedIn, and
throughout the industry.
Mid Term: (2028)
• I want to get a job at a major sports network calling
games or talking about sports on a daily basis.
‣ My KPI for my mid term goal will be to get 20-
30 games called under my belt.
Long Term: (2033)
• I want to get my dream job at the SEC Network, and
call games in the best conference in college football.
‣ My KPI for my long term goal will be to get at
least two major jobs ten years after graduation.

You know how sportscasters seem to use too many cliches? Well, what I do
is tell all the facts and nothing but the facts. In fact, in my intro to
sportscasting final, I delivered my highlight with as many stats as possible,
and I used one cliche the entire time.
