against the democratically elected
Popular Front government of Spain. Within days, the country was plunged into one of
the bloodiest wars the world had ever seen, with the Republicans battling the
insurgent Nationalists for control of the country. The Nationalists were fascist in
principle, and therefore received massive amounts of aid from Hitler and
Mussolini as a result of their shared ideology. The rest of the world turned their back
on Spain and signed the nonintervention act, which constituted a series of agreements
limiting foreign involvement in the Spanish Civil War. The Republicans were
communist and received a limited amount of aid from the Soviet
Union. However, their main source of aid did not originate from a single power, but
from a group of some forty thousand volunteers from around the world united in
saving communism in Spain.

It is the most common skin infection seen in young children.
Impetigo is due to a germ known as Staphylococcus aureus in hot climates it may
be due to Streptococcus pyogenes or a mixture of the two. These germs pass from
person to person, and can spread rapidly through families and school classes through
skin to skin contact or, less often, by bedding, clothing and towels. However
impetigo can even arrive out of the blue, with no clue of where it came from.
Germs causing impetigo can invade normal skin, but can also take advantage of

skin that has already been damaged by cuts or grazes, insect bites, head lice, scabies,
cold sores, or eczema.
Impetigo can appear anywhere, but is most common on exposed areas of skin such
as the face, around the nose, mouth and on the hands. Initially it appears as groups
of thin roofed pus filled blisters which tend to break quickly to leave round oozing
patches covered with crusts. The patches are small at first but slowly get bigger.
In most cases it clears quickly, but it will not do so if it is based on an unfamiliar
underlying skin problem such as scabies or head

Immigration Problems In America
America is often referred to as the Land of Immigration ( A History of Immigration in
the USA ). The foundation of America was built on immigration, when in 1492
Christopher Columbus, an Italian explorer, discovered the Americas. Not only is
immigration the base of America s history, but it is also beneficial to the economy
and society. Immigration increases the labor force, including everyday, necessary
jobs (Anderson). Therefore, immigrants are beneficial to the economical and societal
growth of America. To begin with, immigration causes a number of problems for
America. The first problem is that America is being overrun with immigrants. This
problem is focusing on the undocumented immigrants. A solution to stopping
undocumented immigrants from overrunning America is building a wall. The
overwhelming increase of immigrants is causing a problem for U.S. citizens; because
of immigrants, jobs are taken away from American citizens. A third problem that
immigration causes is that immigrants are a drain on society s resources (Cole).
Government benefits should be cut off from immigrants. Stopping these benefits
would save money and diminish incentives for immigrants to illegally enter the
United States(Cole). Although immigrants come to America, they refuse to assimilate
(Cole). Their refusal to assimilate denies America of its cultural and political unity.
An example of this is the large migration of the Chinese to California in the 1850s.
